The difference came at Half time yesterday

they came and produced a good away performance. as did stoke, west brom, burnley etc.

Yes, these teams did as they restricted us to very little.

Yesterday was not a good away performance. We absolutely dominated Palace. They made mistakes and gifted us some opportunities. We also created some very good opportunities through our own good play. We did, however, miss a number of opportunities to score and that's what cost us. It wasn't to do with their great defending or tactics whatsoever. Just like we luckily scraped victories away at Stoke and Hull, Palace scraped a fortunate win yesterday. None of those were good away performances but as a manager/fan etc.. of the winning team you'd certainly take it!

Ok so completely change the topic to suit your own point of view. I'm not trying to defend our results at all, they've been abysmal. You said the 2 subs were the difference, I disagreed but also said I agreed with you that Pearson is too reactionary. You can't just stick in another random thing about our record against teams around us...

Palace could not handle us in the first half that was obvious, however they handled us better in the second half which was down to a change in tactics and subs at half time by palace.

they won the game? how was it not a good away performance? Home team are more times then not going to have more of the ball, etc.  .

i would take 1shot at goal in a away game and a 1-0 win any day of the week because aslong as you are winning it does not matter how you do it!

I'm not saying I wouldn't take a dodgy 1-0 win any day of the week at all! I'm saying it's not a good performance, it's a good result. The two aren't necessarily mutual. I'd argue Palace didn't really handle us better 2nd half at all as we possibly created as many chances as we did in the first. Pardew's change of tactics had little impact on the game. If it hadn't been for calamity Morgan gifting Palace a shot on goal that lead to the goal scoring corner then we would have been fine. I completely disagree that the change of tactics and subs of Pardew had that much impact on the game.

Worth baring in mind before you slag us off as shit

we were without

Jedinek

Bolasie

Chamakh

Dann (2nd half)

Our 4 best players this season and we still won.

Im not here to rub it in, I actually think its not impossible for you to survive, you have a good side but you have a dodgy defence,  I reckon Huth is a better signing for you than Kramaric

If you were there yesterday would appreciate your objective views on Leicester players you noticed yesterday, in either a positive or negative sense

I went to the home game but watched yesterdays game on as stream

I think you have a good side but with a soft underbelly, you cant defend that well.

Imo if you would have bought a good premier league defender pre season you would be atleast 6 points better off.

Last season?.. It's not what he could of done better last season.. It's what he SHOULD have done better THIS season!... Team selection, substitute decisions, buying the

right quality players in the summer transfer window and perhaps keeping his cool on the touchline would also help??

Yes because all managers keep their cool, it makes them much better at their jobs eg Ferguson,Mourinho,Wenger,Pulis,Pardew ,Hughes.

I've not gone to slag you off as shit. I am well aware you were under strength and that you are actually an improved and decent side under Pardew. However, don't you think you were a little lucky? From a Palace point of view, do you think that you deserved to win the game? Do you reckon the reason we lost was down to us missing chances or your tactics and performance? I was simply answering someone who thought Pardew's subs and tweaks to the tactics meant you won the game. I'd argue that they didn't make too much difference and you continued to be under pressure (whether from your own mistakes or through our own play). I'd also reckon you will say that definitely wasn't one of the better performances Palace have had this season. Still, the result is most important so you will no doubt be delighted with a win to extend the gap between yourselves and the bottom trio.

I enjoy discussing with opposition fans as it gives a different perspective so I'm sure you're not here to rub it in. I completely agree about the defence though, Huth will be a great signing for us. We need that PL experience and leadership that has so lacked from Morgan and co. so far. My non-Leicester supporting friend was saying we are simply too easy to beat. I wholeheartedly agree. I think you lot will be fine though. Picking up points while your two best players, IMO, (Jedinak and Bolasie) are out is no mean feat. Still gutted we didn't win as it was criminal to not take some of the chances we had. Story of our season. We should be well clear of the bottom 3 but strange managerial decisions and even stranger decisions from players have cost us dearly.

I  do think Sanogo changed the game for us, it enabled us to counter attack better, it was actually one of our worse away performance of the season, without Jedinak, Chamakh and especially starting with Gayle I thought we looked lightweight for once.

We were very lucky to win definately, we absolutely battered Sunderland and Villa at home but lost both so in our case we were due a win like this.

I agree with your friend, I think your viewed as a bit of a soft touch, always look likely to concede a goal, you should have scored definitely but remember we were just about as wasteful going forward.

Technically you are as good as any side in the bottom half but imo you seem to lack 2 vital elements, the ability to keep clean sheets and score goals.

Yeah these sorts of results happen all the time, just seems to happen far too much for us because we are so easy to score against and we don't take glorious chances when we get them. I did think that would have been one of your worst performances away from home. Sanogo did impact on it a bit but I don't think you had too many clearcut chances of note unlike ourselves. I know you were wasteful but we take that word to a whole other level  lol

Anyway, once Bolasie, Jedinak, Chamakh etc.. all play together regularly you'll solidify yourselves in mid table i think. Hopefully you can take points off some of the teams we need you to!!
