Grewks Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 Do you think, if Pearson had assembled this squad with the same limited backing that O'Neill had...Pearson would still of been sacked? For me...Dyche at Burnley isn't in a too dissimilar situation to what O'Neill was, and he isn't likely to get the sack even if they don't pick up another point.
tom27111 Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 The difference is, Burnley are picking up points.

The team Pearson took up cost only a little but less that what the Burnley team cost. Up until the signing of Kramaric, we'd only spent £3m more than them this season also. The Burnley did it on a shoe string stuff isn't quite true.
Babylon Posted 8 February 2015 Posted 8 February 2015 The difference is, Burnley are picking up points.Over the last 6 games we're 11th in the premier league form table, picking up 7 points, one more than Burnley. That's also 5 more than QPR, 3 more than Hull, two more than Sunderland and more than Swansea, Everton, West Brom, West Ham and the same as Man City.
