Guest MattP Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 It really does feel like some people are reveling in all this. Guess it makes them feel like every misplaced pass they've booed in the past five-odd years was all totally worth it. Weird isn't it? We seem to have so many of them as well. As for this thread? I don't get the point of it? People aren't under the impression we are doing well.

People aren't under the impression we are doing well. There is no point to it unless the OP is suggesting ultimately suggesting that NP should go and / or the players aren't good enough. If so, then why not just put it in the Pearson out thread or one of the numerous threads slagging off the players? There's one for every member of the squad after all.

What pray tell are we allowed to discuss? Having been to every game bar two I like to discuss and debate why this season has gone so catastrophically awry. We can no longer hear first hand from the manager of our club, or his players because they are boycotting the local radio station. However when the manager repeatedly tells the national media that it is fine margins and pundits say we aren't a million miles away I find that those statements jar with the reality. We are a million miles away. We would be a million miles away in all but TWO seasons. In other threads when people suggest changing the manager they are accused of being fickle, when players are criticised they are repremanded for overlooking last season, in this thread a set of stats are posted and we are told they are of no consequence, it doesn't matter because we're doing badly and there is no need to discuss it because we all know we are doing badly. Well I and a few others disagree.
Tielemans63 Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 My point is why start a new thread when there are a million others discussing the same thing? You don't have to look very hard to find a discussion about what's gone wrong. You can discuss whatever you want, I don't recall suggesting otherwise. I just wonder what new light your stat sheds on the current situation?
Guest Col city fan Posted 18 February 2015 Posted 18 February 2015 I think its a good thread. It gives evidence and facts, rather than the usual gubbins. And shows, in facts and figures, just how bloody awful we have been. Well done to Michael for making the effort.
