  1. He'd still bag goals and it'd be a little uplift for us all to see him back.. however, it just delays what we are currently supposed to be doing and that's replacing him.. so for me, as much as Id love to see him play in a Leicester shirt again, its a no. We have to use this season to have a complete rebuild as much as possible. Realistically for Vards with Crem about to drop, a year or two in the states should be where hes looking. Lower standard, money to be had, might be the right time for that off the back of the netflix doc. Good luck to him wherever he goes, but we need to move on
  2. Was just more an example from the apparent options. I think the best bets that Davies if hes interested. If it was between Fuchs and Ferguson id rather Ferguson until the toxicity dies down. Fuchs isnt ready yet is he and we'd only end up tarnishing his name
  3. Personally.. as much as I love Fuchs.. I just fear with the mess we are in it could just get more toxic and the bond with him tarnished.. a bit like it would've for King if hed carried on longer. Best bet is Chris Davies or even Ferguson. They know the division. Someone that'll come in and get thinks sorted and get everyone moving forward again.. id rather someone like Fuchs came in when things were good again.. after Davies has done well and leaves for thr bright lights of Hull or something but the dirty works been done
  4. It would be nice to have the option of 442 though. Im sick of playing one way. 4231 is preferable but sometimes you need to be able to switch it up. Id be glad to get rid of Skipps wages but if we are stuck with him its not the end of the world if we can carry his salary for a season.. he wouldnt actually be too bad in L1. I hope youre right about Jannik. I think the best bet is he goes somewhere in Europe and we subsidise half the wages. Youre right about Nelson.. and for a small fee for an English U21 international its worth the risk for someone isnt it I guess. When he came in during the last promotion season under Enzo he did look quality.. im being too critical on him because you cant really expect any young player to thrive in that shite really this year can you. Id like two strikers if we can muster it. Obviously the next Vardy is too big a wish.. but someone similar to Dickov and then a Ulloa/Howard type too would be useful. Sick of these lazy weak 'forwards' of this season
  5. If you read a little further down.. im assuming Page and Monga leave hense not including them .. id like Page to be involved though if he stays Wouldn't mind Jakub leaving but I think league ones his level. If I was running a championship side I wouldnt want to bring him in Fair point on Nelson, hopefully teams just see what he did last year and he stays but a couple of million in the bank wouldnt be the end of the world as Gray would get a shout. I dont share your confidence on Jannik leaving unless we stump up a portion of his wages.. clubs will be more interested in Lascelles surely? How longs he here for? We have to be stuck with Skipp. Noones shelling out on him. Doesn't he still have 2 years left, so we'd need 10-12m to break even depending on what the actual fee was. Yes im hoping Hutchinson is a regular from the bench. I think we'll need a Steve Howard type for league one. Physical league and we will get bullied if we are too lightweight. Id be quite happy to do a Mike Basset and go back to 442 myself But like I said.. I've had enough of it for a few weeks. I'll wait until pre season starts and see the list of names in the squad I dont recognise and just hope for the best .. should be a laugh anyway
  6. Id absolutely love to get rid of Jannik. My issue is in order to get rid of someone, you need someone to be interested. Only realistic way he goes is we stump up a portion of his salary for a year isnt it, and even then someone needs to see somwthing in him
  7. I think we could make the play offs next season playing 4 or 5 academy players week in week out.. providing we bring in the right players to play alongside them. Players that want to play and will fight I think we are stuck with Jannik unless he can find a loan with the majority of wages covered (unlikely) and Skipp! So something along these lines to begin with Jakub Aluko Nelson Jannik Thomas Braybrooke Skipp Evans. New 10. Alves New CF Should be enough to compete. I think we'll work with a small squad too so will be reliant on fitness. Im assuming there wont be too much interest in Nelson, in my opinion he hasn't done enough this season to make me want to spend if I was running another club. I reckon Monga and Page will go. But if im really honest. Right at this minute I dont actually care. . Quite looking forward to a disappointment free summer of shite football results... oh wait.. England will be playing
  8. Young Mavididi.. overrated
  9. He'll get two more years after that performance tonight 😏
  10. Tbh.. im happy with that as we are already relegated. Aint having them winning games when its pointless when we couldn't be arsed before.. this ends 2-1 Millwall.. Banning stunner
  11. Cant stand him. Does nothing. Dont make runs.. cba
  12. Fair play Souts.. deserves that. If he'd played even just ten games we'd have stayed up. Aint played in 400 years and comes back with a commanding appearance and a goal
  13. Outstanding challenge from choudhury .. gets a yellow
  14. Shows you how sh#t we've been this season.. these are crap . Cov are 9 clear and they haven't been great. The league as a wholes been pretty poor standard and we've still been relegated 🤣
  15. Tbf I have to agree with that. He's frustrated the life out of me this year as he doesn't have the legs anymore and makes loads of mistakes.. but hes still committed and has been great most of the time. So yes id agree with that
