  1. What is it about RM that makes him an obvious choice for the chuckle brothers? Apart from a play off win against Leeds he's done FA. They've seen first hand how a decent team dismantles his style of play, 9 - 1 over the two games under Enzo. His last outing was a disaster, yet those sat in their ivory towers seemed hypnotised by his gift of the gab.
  2. He's probably about the 12th name on their list. They'll start working their way down it soon, crossing names off like Klopp, Slot etc until they are left with Rowett in the middle of July, who will then stick two fingers up at them as he's accepted a job at Lincoln
  3. I can only think that people who want RM as manager are anticipating Lucy P may do something erotic at half time in front of the West Stand every home game.
  4. Do you have confidence in Stan and Ollie doing this, as all I can see is 'Another Fine Mess' they've gotten us into.
  5. Get him interviewed (no compensation to pay either)
  6. I'm not 100% sure about this. I thought we would dominate possession last season in most games, but we didn't really dominate anyone all season (apart from the odd half against a few teams) and teams soon realised we were weak defensively and were prepared to give it a go. Depending on our squad next season, we may not be in a position to dominate games.
  7. Well he'd be on a very limited budget here
  8. Think this might go towards paying some of £70m we owe off. I admire your optimism, but freebies are freebies for a reason. I understand we are still a relatively attractive club for L1, but I'm fearful that we start the same way as Rangers did under RM and with the fragile mentality of our players we are facing another long season.
  9. You keep quoting this and I'm intrigued as to where the money is coming from to get these 'right players'
  10. What's RM's plan b? To throw his own players under the bus and blame them when things go wrong like he did at Southampton - I bet they really felt supported by his comments.
  11. Maybe you're right, but we don't know do we. That's why Rangers got rid - they were heading in one direction only. Perhaps that would have been the same with us under RM. If you are looking to appoint a manager, you surely look beyond someone who is on a downward spiral, don't you? Just because he tries to play Pepball isn't a reason to hire him.
  12. We're skint remember. The players you require to play the football RM tries to serve, are better quality than L1 players. Even the players at Rangers (who I assume will be a higher standard than L1 couldn't adapt to his style). We were lucky under Enzo, we retained some quality players who could play that style (Winks, KDH, Ndidi, Vestergaard, even Praet was comfortable with the ball) but we just haven't got that quality now and I can't see us being able to recruit the standard of player that will a) drop to L1 b) or have the money to buy them if they would.
  13. I can't fathom out why a few think RM would be ok. A disaster at Southampton when they were in the Prem (too stubborn to adopt alternative line ups) and then goes to Rangers who should always finish first or second, but is sacked after they are languishing eighth after the worst start in the club's history. I try to be supportive of new managers, but I'll find it hard to get behind this clown.
  14. I often wonder who drives the recruitment for a new manager. Does Top say to Rudders, these are the only managers I'll consider or does Rudders come up with a list which he takes to Top, who rejects them all and the process starts again. How do ordinary Leicester fans see who would be a decent appointment, yet it's likely to be someone driven by Top's idea on how he thinks the game should be played?
  15. With that name, he should definitely be Citeh bound
