dandannieldanok Posted 15 March 2007 Posted 15 March 2007 Well done to AZ, fully deserved victory. Neat passing, some great interchanges and clinical finishing. Newcastle's defence is a total shambles.

dandannieldanok Posted 15 March 2007 Posted 15 March 2007 Which sort of takes away from your first statement Suppose but I still stand by what I say, AZ were very good at keeping the ball down and playing proper football until they got the lead they needed. But there is no doubt they were aided by possibly the worst centre half partnership you could ever imagine for supposedly one of the biggest clubs in England. Special mention to Nicky Butt who continued to be awful again.
Anish Posted 15 March 2007 Posted 15 March 2007 Bloody hate the away goals rule <_< Liverpool benefited from it though.
Nationwider Posted 15 March 2007 Posted 15 March 2007 Duff was dire and Dyer was duff. Shocking. That's quality. There should be points or vouchers awarded for that sort of posting.
Thracian Posted 16 March 2007 Posted 16 March 2007 The two legs would make a great coaching video to illustrate through Newcastle what not to do. Not that it helps having key senior players performing like novices.
