lookwhaticando Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 They're currently 16th with 7 points - the fans wont be happy with that at all. As if they weren't calling for his head already after last season's end-of-season collapse. Good fun up at Elland Road.
lcfc_jme Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 Can't say I'm sad about Leeds doing pretty poorly. I've been a big fan of theirs. Down with "dirty Leeds"

As if they weren't calling for his head already after last season's end-of-season collapse. Good fun up at Elland Road. He'll hardly notice he's in trouble with the fans though, seeing as there was only 16,268 there today!
lcfc_jme Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 Seems as though 16 is a common number with Leeds - 1,000 fans represent each position in the league. 16th in the league = 16,000 fans.
dandannieldanok Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 We can hardly laugh at them, they are above us
lcfc_jme Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 We can hardly laugh at them, they are above us yeah you're right, above us by 1 goal!! Their goal difference is -1, ours -2
Tommeh Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 He'll hardly notice he's in trouble with the fans though, seeing as there was only 16,268 there today! That was because the game was on ss1. But it was still an sppauling attendance for a 42,000 stadium
NFFC Chris Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 Disgraceful attendance,we haven't ever gone that low for a league 1 match and believe me our football last season at times was diabolical.
lookwhaticando Posted 10 September 2006 Author Posted 10 September 2006 Disgraceful attendance,we haven't ever gone that low for a league 1 match and believe me our football last season at times was diabolical. In fairness, hasn't your football been wank for many seasons now? You must have loyal fans to keep coming back when you've been a bit cack for so many years.
Bert Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 Disgraceful attendance,we haven't ever gone that low for a league 1 match and believe me our football last season at times was diabolical. Last season??
Wils Posted 10 September 2006 Posted 10 September 2006 Disgraceful attendance,we haven't ever gone that low for a league 1 match and believe me our football last season at times was diabolical. I did forget how great the Forrest fans are.

Yes we've been drwadful since David Pratt took charge of the club and we've only had one good season since(2002-2003 season)but am optimistic about this season after our good start. And yes,we do have very loyal fans,I'm sure most other clubs fans would dessert the sinking ship but not us,more the pity us!

Thracian Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 yeah you're right, above us by 1 goal!! Their goal difference is -1, ours -2 Very reassuring!
SydneyFC Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 My dad always goes on about how great Leeds were in his day...
lcfc_jme Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 Very reassuring! I wasn't going for reassuring , I was simply clarifying the fact that Leeds are above us, but not by much at all. If Leeds consider themselves to be having a dreadful season, ours is even worse! But, when we drop Hughes for Williams, and get some service into the strikers, I feel we'll begin scoring some goals, so then we'll have a better goal difference than Leeds And with Williams in the side, the set-pieces are sure to improve, aren't they?!
Deathside Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 They're currently 16th with 7 points - the fans wont be happy with that at all. As if they weren't calling for his head already after last season's end-of-season collapse. Good fun up at Elland Road. Amazing - Considering they are champions of europe
dandannieldanok Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 Did you hear about the debt wipe out up there, £121 million debt will be gone by the end of the season, all of it eradicated in one year
Smudge Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 Did you hear about the debt wipe out up there, £121 million debt will be gone by the end of the season, all of it eradicated in one year How did he acheive that? Poor attendances can't have helped.
dandannieldanok Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 How did he acheive that? Poor attendances can't have helped. Ken Bates probably. However surely he wouldn't have over £100 million in his back pocket.

Ultra Posted 13 September 2006 Posted 13 September 2006 How did he acheive that? Poor attendances can't have helped. It's amazing what creative accounting can do...
