Daggers Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 syston_fox has hit upon the most perfectly designed protest ~ should anyone wish to be bothered to do so. Just imagine the media coverage Leicester City player performances? Actions/innactions of the board? Ticket pricing? RK's tactics? "Are you having a laugh!? Is he having a laugh?"
Surreal Madrid Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 I'll be too busy cheering them to the rafters after a battling display like at Sunderland, and two more points than at Sunderland.

Magic No. 8 Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Yeah its terrible that someone is being optimistic!
Master Fox Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 "Are you having a laugh!? Is he having a laugh?" I think he's havin a laugh
The People's Hero Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 It's not terrible.. it's just the kind of comments which precede every game and I'm getting bored of it, that's all. We all have our opinions and we all HOPE that we win. I'm just not optimistic.

They shouldn't really have to get rolled eyes for expressing a preference though mate.
Master Fox Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Yeah its terrible that someone is being optimistic! Yes it is, they should be jeered, abused and taunted from start to finish until they win a few games. That's my policy I've have come to adapt over the last couple of games.

Master Fox Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 So fans that are being optimistic should be jeered abused and taunted until they win a few games...hmmm, it might catch on. I meant the team. The fans can do what they like. If you enjoy being optimistic about cheering players on such as Josh Low, AJ, Elvis, Maybury, and NEJ than that's fine and good luck to you! But for me personally I just can't raise my hopes or be optimistic about anything to do with the football team anymore. I will still go but to sing and support such losers you sometimes feel like it's just a waste of time and energy because they never get anywhere. It's been like this for 3 years now and quite frankly I'm sick to death of excuse after excuse that pours out of the football club.

Master Fox Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Why go then?!? If it makes you so miserable don't bother. I don’t know maybe I’m just crazy? Or maybe just one day with that little glimmer of hope I have left I may actually witness Leicester win some football matches?
Magic No. 8 Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Arrh so there is a glimmer of optimism there! I know things aren't ideal but if you let it get you down you could end up being really miserable. Chin up.

It’s tough but you have to keep hoping that one day, somehow we can get ourselves out of this shitty mess.

Godammit! I'm going to organise a damn protest against uninventive names now Thank Christ SistonFox, SystonFoxx and SystonFoxy didn't write in to gripe about it too...
Floating Fox Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Arrh so there is a glimmer of optimism there! I know things aren't ideal but if you let it get you down you could end up being really miserable. Chin up. Pesimism is a good thing
Daggers Posted 30 September 2006 Author Posted 30 September 2006 Pesimism is a good thing Yea, but you can't help feeling that you're under-valued and under-rated
