Head Honcho Posted 31 October 2006 Share Posted 31 October 2006 What a bunch of Prima Donna's This game is a bloody joke! I've seen better discipline on Victoria Park they should chuck the both of them out or at the very least deduct a few points.
davieG Posted 31 October 2006 Share Posted 31 October 2006 This is supposed to be the cream of European football It's like watching the kids at the local infants with an overbearing headmaster in charge.

stez Posted 31 October 2006 Share Posted 31 October 2006 Depends what you define as interesting, niggly tackles feigning injury waving imaginary cards having a mardy waving real yellow cards to teams who dispise each other, trying all they can to win. tis funny to an outsider

Wycombe Fox Posted 1 November 2006 Share Posted 1 November 2006 There was some lovely football played but just too much play-acting around it. A good example was near the end (I think) when Deco was tackled and went down like the proverbial ton of bricks, writhing around in 'agony'. A Chelsea player kicked the ball at him at which point he forgot all about his 'injury', jumped up and raced over to confront the ball-kicker. That sort of thing should result in a retrospective yellow for unsportsmanlike behaviour.

Dr The Singh Posted 1 November 2006 Share Posted 1 November 2006 It's becoming like Old Time Musical / Vaudeville It reminded me of many bollywood movies, all they needed was a few songs and a couple of scantily dressed heroens!!!
