Benji Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Hopefully these two Hungarians will be determined to make a name for themselves, some motivation to succeed and a care about their performance. Basically the opposite of our current lot and england as a whole
Leicester Lass Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Leicester City boss Ian Holloway today (Tuesday) doubled his Hungarian contingent with the signing of right-winger Gabor Bori from MTK Hungaria FC on loan until the end of the season.Bori, seen here pictured on the right with fellow countryman Zsolt Laczke, arrived at the Walkers Stadium on trial in December and impressed manager Ian Holloway sufficiently during his stay to be offered an extended stay with the Foxes. The 23-year-old recently broke into the Hungarian national squad for their EURO 2008 qualification games, and is seen as a player with a very bright future in his homeland. MTK Hungaria FC currently sit at the top of the Hungarian League table having finished runners up in the division last season. Other players plying their trade in England that have come up through the ranks at MTK include former Fox Marton Fulop and QPR midfielder Akos Buzsaky. He becomes Holloway's fifth capture of the transfer window - with Steve Howard, Barry Hayles, Ben Alnwick and fellow Hungarian Laczke having already secured moves since the turn of the year. Foxes chief Holloway said: "We liked the look of Gabor when he was here on trial and I am delighted that we have been able to secure his services until the end of the season. "He's an exciting young player who has represented his country. "The fact that we have now got two Hungarian players here now will be a big help to them both." Bori added: "I want to get into the first team and prove that after my loan period Leicester should extend my stay permanently. "Marton Fulop helped me a lot when I was in England in December and I'm sure I'll adapt quickly, I'm not afraid of it. "The Championship is the sixth strongest league in Europe - I will do my best to be able to stick here."
