Bori Signs

If he's better than Gradel he should represent a step forward. If!

Do me a favour Thrac, if he has a couple of mediocre games don't even mention Gradel's name when talking about him. Few other people have seen the lad play and there's no guarantee he'd make a massive impact at this level/in this team yet anyway.

I really hope Gradel's the real deal and I'm glad he's back here so Holloway can see him train, but don't bring his name up unless Bori has a third poor game at least, you know what normally happens.

No you said every club. When he joined QPR they were bottom, when he left they were midtable.

So your fact is not a fact... it's a made up piece of cack.

I know what I said better than anyone else, and the Allen/Levein legacy theory was part of my thought on the matter.....both clubs ended those seasons three or four months later in dire straights, as you well know. Facts always look different to people on opposite banks of an arguement.

Time to move on.....Bori could be a good aquisition

Well at least its nice to see a few :) on here instead of the usual

(apart from Bluemoon and Babylon of course  )

Just saw the interview.

Zsolt is the charmer, and Gabor looks a bit lost. Shame Keane the Twat wouldn't allow us a trio of Hungarians.

Proper wingers, I can't believe it. Lets hope they provide something different.

He cannot speak English, can he? That would explain it. As long as he can find his way around a football pitch, which some of our squad struggle with, we should be ok

well whatever anyone says and whether they are good or bad nobody can deny we are Hungary on the wings now!

We should have kept the Swede, Nils Eric Johansson at FB to feed him :crylaugh::ph34r:

No he can't, and Zolti did a nice job translating for him.

I know you're a doubter by nature, but let's discuss that after the Coventry game.

Deal?

Oh dear... A right winger who doesn't speak English replaces another...

God, you don't let things drop do you?

If you had read my post carefully you would see I was talking about Ollie managing QPR and Bristol Rovers.

Both clubs were dropping like a stone in their respective divisions when he arrived, and guess what?...when he left years later, both clubs were dropping like a stone in those very same divisions....FACT. Both clubs even fell further after his departure which according to the Allen/Levein theory espoused by some here must be his responsibility as they were his chosen players. What's so difficult to understand about that ?

Bristol Rovers Games 247 Wins 90 Losses 87 Draws 70 Win% 36.43

Queens Park Rangers Games 252 Wins 100 Losses 81 Draws 71 Win% 39.68

Plymouth Argyle Games 71 Wins 28 Losses 20 Draws 23 Win% 29.43

Make of these numbers what you will...

Is it just me that is absolutely non-plussed by this?

I guess it must be.

If the bloke was any kop then surely he'd have been given a proper contract rather than just being yet another loanee? :dunno:

So far we still haven't signed someone that excites me, is Milan frightened of signing any more checks or what?

I suppose its insurance really. If they're crap we arent stuck with them, and if they're good, we might have first option to buy them. Shame it didnt work out that way with Fulop

I know - I appreciate that is exactly the reason why we have signed them on loans...what I don't understand is how this is turning into The Summer of 07 Pt.II with all the over-inflated optimism.

Any second now we are going to witness another "Do you reckon we can achieve promotion" thread.;)

First of all, this time we know they're the manager's signings, hence he will probably play them. Unlike Kish, Kaebi, Nielsen, Cort etc.

Second of all, we can't be playing much worse than we currently do. I think most agree with Holloway in that we need new wingers, strikers, midfielders and a goalie. So far he's brought in all but the midfielders.

And finally, some people are naïve (God bless 'em!) and hope that THIS TIME we've got it right! :scarf:

...and you have to believe that after six pints in the Swan and a decent Cheese & Onion cob I'll be in that naive and optimistic camp as well.

At the moment though I still contend IH has a lot to prove. :D
