Stuliasz Posted 27 October 2008 Posted 27 October 2008 Leicester City 0-0 Northampton Town 25 October 2008 Aleksandar Tunchev claimed his second man of the match award in as many games after being voted the best City player on the pitch in the 0-0 draw at home to Northampton on Saturday. The result would suggest that defences came out on top and this was backed up with Tunchev's defensive partner Patrick Kisnorbo finishing second in his first full 90 minutes of the season. Matty Fryatt finished as flop of the match for the second game running with one of the lowest scores of the season so far. Andy King and Steve Howard rounded off the bottom three. SamL Posted 27 October 2008 Posted 27 October 2008 Yeah I'd agree with pretty much all of those. Bit harsh on Howard, I thought he was one of our better players.
Joe. Posted 27 October 2008 Posted 27 October 2008 I don't know whether it's just me, but it seems Howard can't be criticised anymore?
Simi Posted 27 October 2008 Posted 27 October 2008  I didn't realise I was that harsh, my voting was probably done a little to close to me getting home after the match. I guess Fryatt got about a 2.
Salieri Posted 27 October 2008 Posted 27 October 2008 Howard, Fryatt and King in the bottom 3...no surprise there! Some tactical voting going on there methinks, these three players seem to provoke the most reaction/disagreements between the posters on here. I'm not saing any of them were particularly great but i'll bet theres a number of you voters who give a particularly bad mark to one or all of the above just because you dont like them/rate them.
dandannieldanok Posted 27 October 2008 Posted 27 October 2008 I don't know whether it's just me, but it seems Howard can't be criticised anymore? He's either hero or villain, both taken to extreme levels. There is no inbetween it seems.
SamL Posted 27 October 2008 Posted 27 October 2008 I don't know whether it's just me, but it seems Howard can't be criticised anymore? Don't get me wrong, I don't think he's playing as well as he could and he could be doing a lot more, but I just didn't think he was our third worst performer.
Koke Posted 27 October 2008 Posted 27 October 2008 He's either hero or villain, both taken to extreme levels. There is no inbetween it seems. It's the same with Fryatt. I'd like to believe I'm on the fence when it comes to Fryatt. I give him credit when he deserves so, and criticize him when he deserve so. I'm a bit pro-Howard though, because I just like him.
dandannieldanok Posted 27 October 2008 Posted 27 October 2008 It says alot of the team performance when the substitute left-back who played less than half an hour was rated our 4th best player.

I used to really like Fryatt, but then downgraded to sitting on the fence for a bit and now beginning to fall off the fence the wrong way.
