  1. Countries gone to the dogs
  2. Wow, good for you that you can afford a ST in hospitality - if it's coming out of your own pocket and not through a company then you're doing well for yourself obvs. I agree with the OP that it is massively overpriced, just looking at the Sunderland game coming up for example, to go on my own you're looking at at least £276 - £350 depending on where I want to sit, and for that I get a buffet pre-game and a half time refreshment? Oh and a magazine, that's great. I'd consider myself to earn an average wage but for me, spending £550 - £700 for me and the missus to go would absolutely not be an option, I'd rather spend that going away to a nice luxury hotel for the weekend rather than watch us play 90 mins v Sunderland.
  3. This area, and a lot of Westcotes, have some of the nicest old houses in Leicester and some of the largest as well particularly on some of the roads leading on to Narborough Road. They are all neglected and mostly filled with people that couldn't give a s**t about their living conditions. Rubbish, old furniture and crap on their front gardens, litter everywhere. Such a shame. Can only imagine how desirable some of these houses and streets looked 50/60 years ago.
  4. I know what you mean, but the last couple of seasons I've not celebrated a goal properly, purely because you feel like it's always going to be snatched away from you. Even goals that aren't potentially offside, goals you'd expect would be 100% legitimate I always had this niggling feeling that it would be pulled back for a foul in the minute or so before or something would spoil it. Knowing VAR's not there at all just means you can go mad and the chances of a flag going up are a lot less that VAR deciding something was amiss.
  5. I'd say an 8/10 is very fair. I can't put it down at the minute, I'd say I've played a couple of hours every other day since it's been out and there's still plenty to do. The last couple of times I've been on it I've just been doing missions in Neon and yet it feels like I've hardly scratched the surface still. Some missions are a little monotonous but overall for me personally, it's the ideal kind of game I like and for the amount of time I actually have to play.
  6. Classic case of 'that's the rules' rather than using a bit of common sense. Like @Voll Blau says above, potentially harming a new generation of LCFC fans. Club have only themselves to blame if attendances are averaging 20-25K in 10 years time.
  7. It is a shame as there are some nice parts of Narborough Road, enjoy a pint in Nine Bar whenever I can for example, however it is not a place I feel safe and I'm quite a big lad. I drive down there at least 2 or 3 times a week and there's regularly 1 or 2 big groups of Eastern Europeans hanging outside of the Romanian shop next to the pharmacy or the international supermarket a bit further down. They're always openly boozing in the streets. It's clear the police don't bother going down there.
  8. Tbf I would say that 99% of Leicester fans (and those on here) are fans of Maddison and want him to do well. Spurs on the other hand no, but good to see him doing well. Only annoying thing is he isn't necessarily doing anything different to when he played for us but because its Spurs/Top 6 team, the media are creaming over him acting like he's suddenly become amazing.
  9. I've played a few games on it and personally I shall not be parting with £60+ for this - it's just a reskinned FIFA 23 as always. If you're one of those that love off Ultimate Team I can imagine you'd be tempted to get the game on the dot each year but not for me. Might be tempted if it comes on sales at Christmas/January if it's sub-£30 but I think there's enough games to keep me going until then.
  10. I think it's maybe more to do with the clientele that are sitting behind the goal in the Kop. I've sat in a few different areas this year (A1/A2/G2/M1) and every time we've scored everyone's been up on their feet, celebrating and supporting the team like always. Maybe some of the STH's in the SK2/3 have been coming so long they've almost become desensitised to it all.
  11. What does this even mean? Just some crap term made up on social media for some loser fans to upload videos that make them look like their a right crazy old bunch jumping around and falling over each other. Mate you've got your phone out filming when there's a game on you should be watching.
  12. Why does it feel like everyone is so fragile and desperate for attention and big companies or organisations are so desperate to hop on to it and want to look like they 'care' about peoples feelings? Had an email from Tesco just now asking if I want to block emails about Halloween as I might be upset about seeing Halloween emails if I don't officially celebrate it. What is wrong with people and these companies sending this crap out?
  13. No gen sale for this one then - I'm assuming it's pretty close to a sell out then, can anyone see how many's left?
  14. Had a couple of hours to play on this last night and didn't disappoint. I was messing about flying my ship around asteroids and what not when I found a floating space station, tried to hail them but got no answer as I got closer and closer, managed to dock on and then entered and it was really eerie, quiet and dark with zero gravity so everything was just floating about. Then I found a few dead people floating about, it was like something out of a film. Eventually as I got around the station I found a group of robbers - took a while to clear them out because of the zero gravity which took a while to get to grips with but I was properly immersed in it. Reminded me of playing Alien Trilogy when I was a kid.
