  1. I don't think it even went on sale to fans with a purchase history either unless it happened right at the death but I was hoping to go to this one (in hindsight not that gutted I missed it) but no option to anyway. Out of principle now I am not paying for a membership. In the end it's me that loses out but when at a time when everything else in life is costing me more and more I just cannot justify it and will now likely only be going down on the off chance the club is feeling generous to sell to us paupers.
  2. Absolutely heart braking and every parent of young children's absolute worst nightmare, I can't imagine what the parents are going through.
  3. You're not alone Broseph. I think I have had maybe 2 weeks free of either a cold, cough or a sickness bug since around the end of October.
  4. Didn't read the post properly sorry.
  5. Annoying. If that's the case I have a horrible feeling they will judge general sale on a cup match (which always tend to have lower attendances) and two Tuesday night games, say the demand wasn't there and then not bother again.
  6. Do we know if the Boro game will be general sale? 5 days out I was hoping this one would be too as it's been the first general sale one I can go to this season.
  7. As much as I wouldn't be overly keen to have any of the 3 manage us I can't agree with this post. McKenna has done a great job for Ipswich in the 2/3 years he's been there. Promotion last season to the great season they're having this year. Granted they've slipped off the pace recently but compare their squads to the other 3 in the top 4 and there's a big gap. Farke may not have cut it in the PL but he's got a great record in this league, he hasn't just fluked 2 promotions with Norwich and he's in the mix again this year. Russell Martin, I don't really know. Southampton have got a good squad so I think the club would expect for him to be there or thereabouts where they are now no matter who was managing.
  8. In person, the Camarasa goal for Cardiff or the Cresswell goal for West Ham.
  9. Well you posted it as evidence for something but if you don't know what it means how are we supposed to?
  10. What does the vote % mean?
  11. Weird question but it just popped in my mind and thought I'd ask here, when we won the league and Vichai bought all the players a BMW i8, did that have to go through the books of the club as a 'player bonus' or was that just a gift from him to them as individuals, outside of the clubs usual business? How would that work? I think I remember reading at the time they were worth like £100K each so a couple of million.
  12. Let's hope that last bit is true and we don't get any big injuries in the next couple of months. The first point though, I don't think after at least 4 years of poor windows that it is just an 'assumption' anymore.
  13. Me trying to apply to a job on the NHS jobs site whilst following advice from @pleatout and @SpacedX
  14. Completely disagree, any criticism going the clubs way for yesterday and the whole of the January window is completely warranted. On the Sensi side, they've had a month to sort this out, do the necessary background work and due diligence and to have someone lined up as a back up at the very least. On our own players side, we've had since August/September to start looking at moves out for players Enzo doesn't want, in the end we've managed to shift no one of any significance, a couple of loans.
  15. Are you sure it's unsubstantiated? It's been 4/5 years of the same old story when it comes to us and transfer windows. So much dross on high wages or long contracts that we can never seem to shift. Only person at the club in a role he is in no way qualified to do, I'm sorry - any other club he'd be gone but he's become Top's Smithers who he can't seem to let go of.
  16. Why are Italian clubs so hard to do business with
  17. Masterpiece
  18. Bangkok has him now
  19. I've always thought our fanbase is really weird, there's so many people who religiously go down to watch us every week but that also seemingly don't have any real passion or interest in football as a whole. Like they will watch Leicester but have no idea what's going on when we're passing it around at the back and get angry that we're not booting the ball up the pitch or shooting from 20/30 yards every time there's a chance to.
  20. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-68138340 Interesting, they must have been pi**ing about as it looks like they're all from or going to the same place.
  21. What do you mean? Didn't want people knowing that he'd been drinking do you mean?
  22. It is madness that he's got done for this - the money he's on he could get an Uber XL just for himself. He could even hire a driver for the evening and it wouldn't put a dent in his weekly wage. No excuses for it from a normal everyday person, but a lad who earns what he earns it's a joke.
  23. I have no idea how reliable these guys are but just read the article where Pochettino comments on Casadei's recall. The first line is what baffles me with the whole thing. https://football-italia.net/pochettino-explains-chelsea-plans-for-italy-talent-casadei/ 'He must decide whether he will be part of his first team plans'. Why have they bothered recalling him then? The way he was developing with us with his game time increasing, about to enter a period where he'd probably begin to get a lot more starts as well. It's got to be someone at Chelsea not happy with the minutes he's had - doesn't sound like it was Pochettino that ordered the recall. Wouldn't surprise me now to see him sent off on loan to one of our promotion rivals now or possibly back to Italy.
  24. Ok so it seems farcical because of inflation and the general increase in costs etc. However on the flip side it's madness when you think that they're complaining that they should be able to make bigger losses than £105m over 3 years - what sort of a business/company in any other industry would be complaining that there's restrictions stopping/advising/guiding them away from making such huge losses.
  25. Yeah but we're Leicester, we even struggle to raise a decent fee for some of our best players of recent year's (see Barnes & Maddison) I also think we're the only team in the world that Saudi teams actively try and avoid paying even when they owe us the money (see Ahmed Musa)
