its not elite dangerous. combat is much closer to no mans sky, travelling itself is done with loading screens, you jump to a system, and then pick a planet where a mission or location is, and select travel and its give you another cut scene, it works really well though, basically cutting out the boring parts of space flight. once you have visited somewhere though you can literally plan a jump from the ground in one place and be teleported to the ground far far away on another planet, which im not a fan of but you can still choose to fly it yourself. as much as the game allows anyway. you get random encounters with other ship as well in space, usually when you arrive at the destination. it is fallout /mass effect/ no mans sky but it is a bethesda game first, expect all the usual stuff from them. if you like skyrim/fallout you will enjoy this just dont expect no mans skyrim or ED, because it isnt that.

dude ive completed the campaign twice and now im going around doing all the faction stuff and exploring. mostly spending all my credits on ship parts to make a custom ship too. its so so good.

Been looking forward to this one for a while now. Bethesda gave it the kids of death by stating it will be the least buggy game they ever released but I still ordered early access and will enjoy it I'm sure, as long as it's playable I'll be happy. And I can't wait to see what the modders do with it

first time baldurs gate player, dont normally go for these top down rppg style games,. but i saw the combat on twitch and thought "XCOM?" and bought it. story is picking up now, its been funny in places and im loving the fights. went straight in on tactician difficulty too

the guy i had on the phone just now working for british gas, calling to confirm my switch, i told him i understood he has a job to do but i didnt want to be with BG in the first place and was only with them because they were already supplying the new place. ((we got a visit from utilita the yesterday, who will let us go back on pre payment smart meters already installed) he then reeled off various numbers saying how BG are cheaper (they're not) and i repeated im not interested and he said " so you're happy to pay more for your gas and electric then are you?" like, **** off ****, its not your money, why do you care? in sussex we were with naboo who sold out to BG and they gave us nothing but shit about how we cant be on pre pay anymore and it really ****ed us over for a while, so no damn way am i going back

Charity shop haul today. 3 books of a 5 book series, the first and last 2 so if it's good I'll have to find the others, and 2 from films and tv that I enjoyed. Should be a nice break from Bosch and inverting the pyramid which is a tough read. although i no0w realise those 3 at the back might be childrens books but **** it, ill give them a go
