Time to update you on the squad going in to the first game of the season in the SA prem we sold Seman and Albert after poor seasons and some other bit players, but now for the fun part, the incomings i had a lot of fun triggering buyout clauses with my new found fortune and ended up putting together a team of my greatest hits, players i have had on loan before that did well but lost to higher clubs or didnt want to extend their stays after a loan. biggest catch of which was Emmanual Ncube, you may remember him from my last post as the guy wanting #7 he was on loan with us last season and he had a release of £120k which i met, and he refused to negotiate with us, we went public about our desire to sign him, he stil lwasnt interested but demanded he be put on the transfer list at his club, for just 40k. so we kept going back, kept talking to the press, eventually we got him Sandil Manganyi, Full back we had on loan in my first season, picked him up from black leopards for 83k release, hes never really lit the league up but hes a solid performer Sibusiso Phiri , solid looking young left back, i had to bring in someone who looked like they can do a job while i keep O'malley as the understudy Rocco Rocha , had him on loan a couple of years back, glad to have him back in the squad he was very good for me thats the main ones and its all i can upload in one go. i got 2 strikers on loan and a new Goalkeeper who looks as good as Diarra, i brought him in case we lost our first choice. also had the added benefit of making a rival weaker my first month of football looks pretty tough but im hoping for good start

He's a DM that wants number 7. he got given 6 and made me promise to give him 7 before final squad registration. the auto bot gave the lowest squad numbers to the players in the current lineup so in theory i could put him at right wing before holidaying to make it work ill try it later on

i cant progress past the squad number email. i could holiday for a day but i promised shirt numbers to players who didnt want to come and i dont want to upset them. tried their suggested step to stop it but it failed. ill wait and see what happens

i cant go into the squad numbers screen at all. each new signing has the option as you know, but every time i click it the game crashes. hoping when the official email comes in asking to submit my numbers it works. would one of you mind saving your game and trying to give a shirt number to youth kid or something ,see if its just me please, i dont run any mods apart from logos and kits though so i cant see it being that

just a heads up for players, if you go to the squad tab, then more, and squad numbers, and click it, the game crashes. i promised a shirt number ot a new signing and wanted to do it before i forgot, found that out. fortunately my weekly autosave has saved me once again

we just got 5m for Tv rights this year, so that explains it, but 5m for a new club, theres a lot of money apparantley in the SA prem. and yeah, as soon as the new season rolled over all my players wanted improved deals on 3 year contracts, i obliged some of them, others i sold, still working through pre season ill show some of the comings and goings later

i really enjoyed it and i rarely buy games on release unless i can get them discounted. its a very good bond game and plays well, and i will replay it, if you love bond and hitman then yes, its worth the price

Finally! we're up! a win against highbury and a win and draw against Durban city puts us top with a game to spare in the playoff league. it was fun, like playing 3 finals back to back, though if we lost im sure i would be saying it sucks. happy to never do that again EDIT oh and suddenly we have money? 2.5m transfer budget for the premier? we got like 50k in the bank

thanks for the tip about minutes, ill remember that but ill still keep giving them cameos because its realistic. if only i could sell players, my max contract length allowed is one year, i lose most for free unless i can get them to agree and club held extension, trigger it and then try and sell them, but if they're crap i wont do it in case im stuck with them, i need the wage budget each year to improve

Regular season over, we did well, might have won it any other year but Magesi were unstoppable. they won the league the week before we played them and we had to give them a guard of honour the match went our way though, beating them 1-0 and ending their unbeaten season, they lost the next game too before recovering their form. i thought (assumed) the playoffs would be a game home and away between us and highbury, its a 4 game mini league with the second worse prem team in there too. we played durban in the cup and lost 4-2, and us and highbury each have a win against each other this season fingers crossed, as far as youth goes, they are coming along but didnt play much as they werent good enough when they did, chasing the title i preferred to use the dependable team as much as possible. Seman is asking to elave and im going ot let him, bad attitude demanding more starts and playing poorly when he got them affected his development, Mayo is coming along fine made a couple of starts and subs and did ok but not enough to start a lot. the real surprise is o'malley, coming through the youth team out of nowhere, attracting the attention of half the SA premier league, i tied him down to a new deal. played him in the last game of the season, he put in a 7.2 before i took him off for mayo in the 77th min see you after the play offs

yeah for sure there are hitman elements, and where hitman is all about not getting caught, bond lets you adapt and go loud like bond would, and it works very well. the game is excellent and i really enjoyed it, however ,where it falls down for me is replayability, the tacsim mode is incomplete and just a series of short challenges in small areas of the maps, no alternative routes and different ways to do things which i was really hoping for. bond is its own game with hitman influences, just do go into thinking its a hitman game in a bond skin because it that what i did and was left a little disappointed as a result.

not really, its a good game but a hitman clone it is not.

we're at the halfway point in the season and we're in title winning form, unfortunately, Magesi have turned into prime barcelona and are looking unstoppable. my only hope is they lose soon (hopefully to us) and then fall off a cliff. our two losses came at the hands of Magesi (1-0) and we got dismantled 3-0 by highbury, so we are still unable to beat our main rivals so far which is always my barometer for a good title wining season. had a few offers for seman in the window, hes not happy and wants to elave but i told him no, he will play more second half of the season hopefully he comes around. we brought no new signings in january.
