  1. Should be 2 down same casual play. Which probably means we'll score in next 5!
  2. Made the point after Watford game, we get away with murder at times due to a poor league overall. Awful start from us looking far too casual.
  3. Doesn't everyone lose throughout the season? Embarrassing comment that.
  4. Watching Ange-Ball, delightful stuff. Quick, exciting, purposeful. Certainly prefer this to Pep/Enzo approach. All opinions of course but those who say modern football has to be more technical and pedestrian need to watch this.
  5. Absolutely this 👆
  6. Watching online, the joys of having the off switch. A shot every fourth minute? Have no idea why such frustration in the stadium today. Let me guess, at 19 minutes I looked up and saw we had 77% possession yet the keeper hadn't been tested. But still, so much possession of the ball, shots every 4 minutes. The championship Man City? Mind blowing stuff.
  7. Has to get a start soon, Nacho killing us at the moment
  8. If you seriously enjoy watching this week in week out then fantastic 👏 80% of what you witness is passing sideways and backwards around the likes of a sub standard Watford. It's borderline a training session feeling most weeks. As I day, maybe the groan amongst supporters and concourse doesn't carry to where you sit, or may be you watch the score appear on Sky, who knows. But this ain't pretty to watch by any stretch.
  9. Of course the opposition never have great chances either do they... 🤔
  10. The game was unbelievably boring. You're over thinking it. Admittedly it's hardly rocking but today was harder to watch than most given the abject nature of the opposition
  11. Glad you enjoyed it 👍
  12. I think it was incredibly hard work against a very very poor side. It was anything but enjoyable and is reminiscent of many games this year. We're you on the edge of your seat?
  13. I appreciate the question 👍
  14. Played well today, well done Big Jan 👏
  15. Those seats around me, then the gents at HT followed by the concourse around me.
  16. We're all bored s******s but don't mention that as it upsets everyone else who is bored out their a***e until a winner goes in.
  17. Dreadful again. If Cannon has scored goals at this level then surely now has to be the time?
  18. Not lucky in its entirety. It's a weak division where you survive at times with poor finishing. We just don't look like a confident side at the top with "premier league" level players as so many seem to think we are or have.
  19. We are supposedly runaway leaders and again limped past a very very poor Watford side. This isn't comfortable as so many suggest but another rather uncomfortable lesson in struggling to adjust to a a slow boring methodology of winning football matches. I'm not looking to take anyone's enjoyment of points on the board but doesn't feel enjoyable rocking up week in week out. Sat here today "again" with people bored ot their skin. Hopefully the system will adjust to something more amenable as I can't see any future for us limping past weak sides fortuitously.
  20. More than entitled to that. Being wasteful too often isn't a crime but a problem that needs solving?
  21. We get lucky far too often. Promotion would kill us.
  22. The stadium is flat cos its absolutely mind numbingly boring. L1 is now reduced to an apologetic song every now and then and andctge singing section in kop of 150 barely a ripple. Not there fault as kudos to the 150 in there but out of 30k its pitiful.
  23. Good result, poor performance
  24. I think you'll find most say it before they play us (nothing to lose saying it and bigs up any result) and most have been dissapointed to lose to us saying they deserved more. I think that tells a more honest picture. Not playing down the points on the board but we're level pegging with a side playing league 1 last season and very little cash. So much so they bought our 4-5th choice striker. So whilst many will cite our squad depth and quality at this level I'm just suggesting I'm not sure we've lived up to the hype the points were showing. I'm talking about games such as QPR away where it took a worldie to beat bottom placed 10 man side amongst other laboured victories not necessarily the 2 defeats of late. Was always about adapting to the system which we all accept, the further we go tho the players seem to be getting a little lost with it.
