Will have to see pal. Each to their own on these things. We all want the best for club ultimately 👍🏻

I never mentioned £30m? But I would sooner use the £7m towards someone who looks better than a distinctly average championship player? Let's be honest, aside from his great goal he was largely ineffectual again. Had his performances by now been far more productive then I would agree its a no brainer. But they haven't so I don't.
-
Why collect players? That's been our problem. Money as scarce as it is needs to go towards better options than "worth a punt".
-
So your suggesting there isn't a single player out there better than Yunus? Odd response?
-
Why spend £10m on him when you can lump that money towards a far better option instead?

We're playing Rotherham n Co, ask Winks to perform at Youri levels if we hopefully return. You simply cannot compare the 2 situations. It's great to see us at the top of the league but the season isn't over yet, arrogance and complacency certainly won't help either. Rodgers had lost the dressing room but in the end we were relegated because the collective weren't good enough. We've lost Youri, Madders and Barnes. Throw in Castagne and Cags on top and this squad is weaker no question. However, it's a new dawn and we're trying something different. It hopefully will come off but the gulf between championship and Prem is huge. Burnley were the Harlem Globe Trotters of the league last year and barely getting a sniff. I'm just being realistic. Doesn't make me less of a supporter of the club.

We went down cos we were rubbish and we sold our best players since. We're a good championship side. To suggest we're better than half the sides in bottom half of prem is absolutely ridiculous.
-
Stronger than most of the bottom half of Prem already. WTF are you smoking?!
-
Do people seriously think Premier League opposition will sit off him allowing us to dictate play like we/he can in the Championship? Jeez.
-
I suspect this is following tactics. Makes no sense how he continually checks in but we've seen it with Fattawu since his arrival on scene. Not saying I agree with it but appears only Mavididi has license to attack continuously.
-
Impressed with him. He's quick, looks hungry and works very hard. Thought he did a sterling job at Cov as well last week against his attacking wide player in tracking back. My concern for him would be similar to that of Fattawu. The right hand flank appears to be the heavier controlled wide player. Both Fattawu and McAteer operate as outlets to receive and relay the ball back in to play it would appear. Although Fattawus natural instincts at times probably naturally rebel against that. Mavididi who I might add is now really excelling is seemingly allowed to run his full backs regularly. So I think it's a little unfair to suggest McAteer appears limited when his game role is somewhat different to that being asked of the left hand side.

No you didn't say "made a draw" you said "making a draw" as I stated. But you knew that I'm sure 😉 -

You lost me at "making a draw". We threw away a win. Guess we all see things differently 👍🏻 -

Embarrassing yourself my friend. If you can't see the problems in front of you then stick to the statistical day job. On your basis we should never have won the premier league, circa 30% possession, less shots.... More to football than checking the match stats. -

We didn't. We played well for the first 45 mins then dropped considerably in the second half. Ipswich grew in to the second half quite easily and bar a 5 minute spell where we looked the better side it was largely them in the front foot. Continued possession for possession sake is starting to hurt us. No question we've been lucky at times against others coming back atvus strongly but as to be expected our incredibly deliberate and predictable style starting to play out as well used record to the opposition. Simply going backwards and playing ourselves in to needless problems all too often looks like a recipe for disaster. By all means point to the league table, no question we've made a great go at this but races aren't won half way round the track. -
Following instructions almost certainly.

It's boring and getting incredibly predictable. We are literally obsessed with possession which mainly consists of returning the ball backwards on mist occasions. Only Mavididi is allowed to attack. Both Fattawu and Mcateer are glorified advanced full backs. I'm sorry, I want to buy in to this project but they'll be absolute cannon fodder next season if they manage to see this through. -
Tight cagey affair. Particularly at home we seem content on taking our time to feel our way in to a game. Unfortunately the opposition don't so i expect Ipswich to come out strong here. Would like to see us more attack minded early on and set a tone. Not sure that's Enzo's view mind! A hard fought 2-1 win for me.
-
Sensi deal you'd suspect the reasoning here as others have mentioned. Clearly no confidence in shifting anyone else. Just hope if the case this bloke stays fit or were in trouble.
-
We'd defended well up until the first goal. However it was a half literally of defending, felt at times like little desire to try and search for a second which was most dissapointing for me. Faes also despite having a great game sadly stood off Ohare instead of closing him down leaving a simple strike at goal. Noise levels whipped up and we were on the ropes. Have to agree though with those stating we looked second best for the most part in first 45. Loving the Enzo season were having but it's very passive and quite predictable now. Just hope second half of season doesn't see us being combated much easier as could make what many think is a formality much more challenging.
-
Poor police presence after the game. Group of cov lads in covered faces stood in pack smacking randoms as we moved round that way from our end. Van load eventually appeared looking clueless.
-
O'Hare would be a great option for us. Best player on the park today.
-
Whilst I expect us to win the game I fully expect them to smash us first 10 mins. We seem to sleep walk in so many of these tastier games early on, almost like we don't expect it. Either be a goal down or caught them on a counter against run of play!

For me it isn't about just today. He's looked a tad slow, overweight and cumbersome since August. He has a nice cross field ball on him but I think he looks too exposed as a wide left CD. He looks the sort who's happier in a defensive 2 and tighter protection.
