I've not watched much of this year but it's just so obvious there is absolutely no plan other than get the ball wide and hope we do something with it from there.
Some of the individual performances were shite but you really do wonder what the feck the manager is telling them to do.

My sister is back from Oz and wants to go so we're going with the old man.
My first game this season and I'm not looking forward to the football itself.
That said, it'll be the first time the 3 of us have been in probably 10 years or so (sister has been in aus for 7 years) and I do love football on boxing day.
I just hope we put up a fight and create some good chances but I'm not holding my breath for obvious reasons.

It’s such a shame they didn’t leave the original bar area alone
I'd never been before so don't have anything to compare it to. Great spot for a lazy afternoon lunch though I thought.

What an absolute useless piece of shit I am!
When my mind overthinks I end up ruining everything with my paranoia. What a ****ing great Christmas.
sorry everyone ranting
I'm sorry to hear you're having such a rough time.
No matter what is going on you are absolutely not a worthless piece of shit though bud.
You're human, you're fallible and you make mistakes just like we all do. That's life. You are far more than a bloke who has made a few mistakes and fallen on some really difficult times.
Try and keep the mind occupied on something to stop the overthinking spirals and try not to be too hard on yourself, the stories we tell ourselves can be powerful and detrimental.
I hope things improve for you mate but either way keep posting, you can always count on this thread for some support.

Can't really articulate it but it definitely feels like the place in town (that does cask) that is most authentic in it's "Leicester" nature to me. Some other great places in their own right / in their own way / for different things but they don't quite have that same quality for me
Also goes under the radar just how good their beer selection is. Bathams and Holdens on regularly
Can you elaborate on this at all?
I've unfortunately done very little drinking in Leicester because I moved away. I always read this thread with a little envy in that I don't know the city (or county really) from the boozer perspective.

Had a plum porter at the Malt Cross in Nottingham yesterday, can't remember the brewery though annoyingly and Google isn't helping.
Decent pub, shame we didn't stick around longer!

Not sure how well the "I've not been backed" excuse will go down over there.
I wonder who he'll blame.

If you believe Rudkin & Co were "trying", then thats another conversation in the first place.
They've shown us time and time again they can't even get the basics right, what makes you think they made genuine attempts to resolve the Tielemans situation?
Its simply pathetic management, anything that requires effort at this club is not done, but when it comes to extending garbage players like Luke Thomas they're quick to settle it.
It shows a complete lack of dedication towards their job duties and chosing the cowards way out.
Vestegaard contract extension because it was easier than finding a replacement.
Hamza contract extension because it was easier than finding a replacement.
But Tielemans? Oh well, that takes too much effort lets just let him run it down.
I just don't think Tielemans wanted to stay. There was at least one interview with him the summer before he left where the subject was raised with him and an offer was clearly on the table.
As Tommy said, comparing him to Thomas, Vestergaard and Hamza is apples and oranges, they're an entirely different calibre of player.
To be clear I'm not defending the club, I assume we could've done more one way or another but it's not like we were cheating out on wages at the time is it? Ultimately I just don't think Tielemans wanted to stay and it probably would've taken something silly to get him to.

You're forgetting who we support... £20m would be deal of the century for LCFC
But it really wouldn't be - we paid like £18m for him. I don't think he's been consistent enough for us to get anything north of £30m but what would be the point of selling for £20?

Thank you for saying the same thing twice.
Not extending a players' contract means they leave for free.
I think the point is we were trying to get Tielemans to renew for at least a year or so. He chose not to, you can't force a player to sign can you.

Finished the Sean Combs series yesterday, very interesting. Quite surprising that he got so far and it took so long for it to come crashing down. What a scumbag.

I would bet good money loads of Americans have bought guns after something like this. For many the answer is somehow more guns.

Simple minded cretins. All of them.
Are there any Union FS posters contributing to a reasonable debate on here?
Oh. I wonder why not.
If you are UFS, please disclose yourself.
I thought not
This is such a strange post. You sound like the drunk uncle in the corner shouting rubbish.

He might improve us, so I'm not totally against it. I could see this being described as shrewd if he came in and got a few goals, but it more likely does feel like another Vesty, Ayew.
It's such an indictment of where we are and our chronic lack of strategy though. I think that may be the thing that is worse than actually signing him.
Occasionally something happens and I think we're learning. And then we go back to doing things that have got us in this mess and I remember we never seem to learn a fvcking thing.

If it weren't for some questionable fashion/bag choices and 1 tweet I don't think Maddison would've got half the grief he did.
Always seemed like a good lad and was far from being the problem.

Very pleased for Lando, he's always seemed to me like a very genuine lad. I'm glad he did what he needed to.

I met Matt Heath at Budgens in Groby once. Got him to sign a page of my English book. Nice bloke, interesting to hear from him.

TBH, the scientific community can be just as guilty of personal truths, especially if they are working for a company or government that expects certain results.
Modestly I'd also add that historically scientists have believed they had an understanding of a subject only for someone to come along and change that understanding.
1000 years from now, who knows. I often think that Sci-fi movies are very limited in their visions of the future.
Yes, that is more or less how science always has and always will work. Some things are absolute and some are hypotheses that are then subject to change over time. It doesn't make science a subjective thing, just one that is evolving.

How bad can it get?

Relegation this season is a very real prospect and that would surely mean administration.
Hard to say where we would end up if we don't get enough points to be clear of relegation even with a deduction. And that is just this season.
