    I like it.

I still feel like it's a massive mistake though. It doesn't matter how good it is, it will always be viewed negatively next to the original based off nothing but nostalgia.

It would have been much smarter to base the show around the cursed child story and focus on the relationship between James Potter and Scorpius Malfoy. You would have the origional material to base the plot around but there is no where near the same amount of it so you would also have artistic freedom to pad it out how you want. You would also have a far greater margin for error as people aren't so attached to it and would be more forgiving.

This is just a license to print money.

I didn’t realise NCP had gone into administration.

How many people don’t bother going shopping now, due to parking costing more than the items you’re buying lol

We were talking about this in the office, frankly we were all pretty surprised, wondering what they've been doing wrong.

Back to the war, I was on a construction site yesterday and they were telling me it's causing havoc with their prices. Everything has gone up so much it's causing serious issues.

i dont know. im just going on what the dentist told me.

Obviously the dentist will choose the option that gets them the most money but if tooth removal is cheaper, i would prefer that option.

the tooth is near the back so no one is going to know lol

the pain actually stopped before i started the antibiotics so would that mean the nerve was killed?

I had a root canal last year on one of my front teeth. I lost half of it playing hockey and had a filling that was fine until about 18 months later I got a horrid toothache that was the nerve dying. Pain had gone by the time I had the procedure but didn't want to risk anything especially with it being the most visible tooth.

Is it £1380 for just the root canal or getting something else done too? Mine was about 600 and it's a good practice.

I'd imagine getting the tooth removed is cheaper either way.

Turns out I have prostate cancer. Bit of a bummer but it is what it is. Gleason 3/4, so fairly early stage. I’m going for a relatively new tech treatment called Nano Knife which hopefully will avoid side effects and has a quite quick recovery. The cancerous areas of the prostate are zapped with electricity to kill it off leaving the rest.

The main risk is to the wallet as it isn’t covered by Medicare or private insurance yet and costs about AU$25k. The stats quoted are 97% successful for eradicating the existing cancer, but a 20% chance of return within 5 - 10 years. I will have to be regularly monitored (PSA, MRI and occasional biopsies), but if it does return it should be early stage and all treatment options are still available including repeat Nano Knife.

Big holiday pre-planned (nuclear winter permitting) so won’t be doing anything until June.

    Eesh that's rough.

Hopefully the treatment goes well and you get through it all ok.

    All the best mate.

Thinking of getting a Monzo or Revolut card for mainly European travel spending.
I don't really want to pay a monthly fee & can't be bothered to transfer all my wages & bills to the account either.

Revolut looks the better of the two but any experiences people want to share on either card ?

I've had a Starling account for a while and it's pretty good imo, you can use that abroad no bother too.

Gary - we need more Gary's.

I want to see him fist pumping SK1 after a 3-0 win.

Maybe we can sneak some into the Norwich supplies. I'm sure even this lot win against a squad completely off their tits

Have you been to Gorton? She’s not won by representing white working class people so I don’t think anyone would think that.

It was the Islamic vote. That was the target and it worked.

I know nothing of Gorton but what are you actually saying? What is so troubling to you about this and the repercussions of the greens being in charge?

gets the ball, striker (who he can't see) is trying to head the ball off the deck.

not taking the piss here, never a pen.

lol He's just booted him in the face.

Defender has very clearly got the ball and his face at the same time. I understand it being given, especially as the defender seems unaware of the attacker and you could argue that's reckless/dangerous.

There is a point where you have to draw the line though and say the player heading the ball is the one creating unnecessary danger to himself, and therefore it is not a pen. I think this is borderline the right side of that for Atalanta.

Kelly sending off is just outright daft, he's looking at the ball the entire time.

Got a week in July booked in Croatia.

Need a week away in UK for August,( I know we are looking at $$$🙄🙁).

Any good coastal resorts anyone can recommend in Walesland with nice Welshy villages and things?

I would ask @Finnegan but hes about as Welsh as me, just gives it the big Welsh thing now and again!!😁

I would recommend looking around Barmouth/Portmaddog.

Not loads in either of those places specifically by way of resorts, but they are coastal and on the edge of Snowdonia so you have the mountains on your doorstep as well and the whole area is very pretty. Loads of old industrial heritage and stuff like that too.

Thinking of going up to Lake District in next couple of weeks.   Is there plenty to do if it rains and would Scafell Pike be likable this point of year?

Any location recommendations to stay in would be incredibly useful too!

Typically people do Scafell from Wasdale head, accessing from the West. It's pretty quiet that side in terms of other things to do but still very picturesque. Alternatively you could stay Keswick side (more to see and do that side) and walk up from somewhere near Borrowdale it's just a longer and steadier approach and means more navigating.

It's a well established path from Wasdale head and I imagine with the weather this week any significant snow will be gone from the tops. I say that as I went out hiking from Patterdale last weekend and in places at 400-600m we had knee deep snow. We were prepared but still got battered by strong winds and sleet.

Any which way, be prepared for the worst weather wise if you go out and hope for the best.

it really did look like the most obvious spawny 1-0 forest win on paper and looked to be going that way for most of the game - the way it ended was simply delightful

I thought it was prime for a smash and grab by Liverpool.

Forest much the better side first half and no worse than Liverpool second, but they didn't really create too much of note.

They were singing about sacking him in midweek. He seems to acknowledge it and take responsibility though.

I’m surprised he hasn’t gone yet. It’s so similar to Rodgers when he was here.

Glasner has more of a point I think re transfers but I agree the whole saga has been a bit weird.

It won’t be Martin, but I just have a feeling we may already have an agreement with another manager to take over if we stay up.

I want what you're on, there's not a fvcking chance!
