  1. Yes but didn't make it count. Just how it goes. Good game though
  2. Nothing all match.. then that
  3. Further to my posts, I can imagine USA getting to the final game, or even winning it because the orange man says it must be so.
  4. Even Wimbledon tennis is going that way. I guess that's what some people will say is inevitable. It's to the detriment of any sport in general for those watching. We already complain about corruption in sport. That has to start somewhere and it starts with money...
  5. I detest the ITV coverage of any sport. Sadly it's going the way of commercial TV. They have the weight and money of serious sponsors. Just like the USA. I used to quite liked watching Superbowl games, but now I get really irritated with the constant interruptions for adverts, and the half time "entertainment" and for me, it makes it unwatchable.
  6. Comms said there were concerns by Sengal about how short the grass had been cut. Disappointing that there's no clever patterns.
  7. That's what Marie Antoinette said
  8. Good, strong, physical players with decent technique.
  9. It's in the USA. 4 min Ad breaks allowed every 10 mins in most tv programmes. 3 mins is generously short. I can put up with that but, as you have said, no coaches allowed to talk to the players. I do think that will become a rule going forward.
  10. Yes. So far. But it's exploitable and therefore will be exploited
  11. I won't forgive them for Pearl Harbour, though
  12. I detest commercial sponsor/ad driven sports coverage.
  13. I never fingered my mother in law, though
  14. Yes. The snorting mucus from the nose.. disgusting.
  15. C'mon mate. It's been as dull as my mother in law's conversations and she died 7 years ago.
  16. And to think in 1944 they were hammering wooden splinters under the fingernails of captured soldiers. (Not the Dutch just to be clear).
  17. I also think spitting should be a yellow card due to it being a biohazard. I'm not even joking.
  18. Boring game not helped by ITV's dull commentators and unexciting pundits, even Roy Keane .
  19. It's not just hydration, it's the average Americans attention span
  20. It's not just hydration, it's the average Americans attention span
  21. I was hoping for better from this game in particular Japan as an emerging football nation. Both teams underwhelming.
