  1. Me either. I got the orange and green straight off but then... Fk all Connections Puzzle #1020 🟨🟨🟨🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟦🟪🟦🟦 🟦🟦🟪🟦 🟦🟦🟪🟦 🟪🟦🟦🟦
  2. Well there ya go. I actually quite like him. Strange isn't it, how people differ subjectively.
  3. Do players get an international cap for playing in friendlies? IMO they shouldn't.
  4. Unfortunately for people like my daughter, people like this piece of scum give those in genuine need a bad name. They should be jailed and made to pay back the money they "stole". This sort of rip off annoys me so much. My daughter has to jump through so many hoops to prove her eligibility for her PIP.
  5. I live in Hinckley and so far we haven't had any Aldi catalogues delivered. But what if there's no one home? Does the postie then have to shove the catalogue through the letter box accompanied by a slip of paper with the words you've quoted on it? I'm sure you and your colleagues know that these things go straight into the recycling bin anyway. I've thought of having 2 letterboxes. One for actual mail and the other specifically for junk.
  6. I sort of do but there's so many doubts and if it were to become legalised, there has to be so many checks and balances in place. I've attended people with terminal illnesses and to see them suffering is really tough. Many have said they just want to go and be free of continuous pain and suffering tat they endure. So many have no respite from their condition that it's easy to understand why they want to end it. It's not an easy question to answer and it very much depends on one's own pov. Personally, if I knew I was suffering for years ahead of me to ultimately die, I'd take the option to end it. Really, euthanasia isn't that far removed from the end of life or DNR (do not resuscitate) agreements made with the individual person.
  7. I bet you do as probably every postie does. Is it right that if flyers aren't delivered the PO gets fined as there's a contractual agreement? BTW our regular postie is a really nice bloke, always has the time of day and a greeting if we meet. I imagine you're a stalwart too. I still remember when I was living with my foster carer when I was 5 or 6, (circa 1959) the postie always got invited in for a brew. It was a small village so I guess there wasn't the need to complete a round within a certain time.
  8. I will never understand why the city council demolished the barracks, an important part of the city's history. But it seems the council have a long track record from then to now, of ignoring our historic buildings.
  9. But I'm sure you'd get the fliers for your restaurant through every letterbox on your route.
  10. Same here. I might dip in occasionally but I'm not getting my knickers in a twist if I can't solve them. I got bored with Wordle as well for the same reasons.
  11. Krakow is a wonderful place for a trip. Polish people are so nice. The city is full of history and the café vibe is outstanding. Food and drink is great and not expensive. Lots to see away from the city as well. We went for our godson's wedding before covid and we couldn't have had a better time.
  12. Clearly not that many. Or they don't speak up. US social media is awash with MAGA supporters but not many raise Republicans seem to raise a concern. Those that do post something against MAGA get absolutely serious pelters from Trump supporters. Including threats to harm. It's all gone to rat shit, even since the orange loony won his first term. One egomaniac has destabilised the whole world.
  13. Are you sending this from your car?
  14. I wonder what the next series of Line Of Duty will be like given the long run it's had. Will it too run out of plot?
  15. Whilst we are were we are and under our current ownership with Top who couldn't GAF, we're never going to bag a manager that wants to take us on and Top and that other bloke don't have the nouse or insight or desire (in Top's case) to find someone that could take us forward. We're stuffed for some years to come. I doubt we'll ever get back to PL never mind Champinship.
  16. My cat has instinct but she still can't catch a mouse in the shed. Where she has ample opportunity to do so.
  17. Nice bloke. Shit "striker". Nuff said.
  18. I tried but got bored. Too many dull moments whereas the first series was quite pacy. As was 2. Felt like the writers had run out of ideas for decent plotlines and character development.
  19. The world leaders and I think many of his own cabinet know he lies and misrepresent the truth but no one in his cabinet or inner circle dare challenge him. He's no better or different to Putin except he exists in a "free democratic" country.
  20. Connections Puzzle #1017 🟨🟨🟨🟨 🟪🟪🟪🟦 🟩🟪🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟦🟦🟦🟦 🟪🟪🟪🟪 I got purple by default but didn't know what the heck a heteronym was.

  22. But as a result stock markets picked up and oil prices fell by 10%. Was he being deliberately misleading in order to make that happen, I wonder?
  23. Did you make sure the neighbours could see you. Pervert.
