Am I allowed to kick their shins?

Me...

The police told the volunteer searchers to avoid open water and streams. Who knows why.

Reminds me of the little boy that fell into the River Soar and was lost for weeks. At least this little chap was found quickly. I can't imagine the grief.

Not as funny, though.

Stockport County 3-4 LCFC - Post Match Thread

Next week will be as different as chalk to cheese. It'll go back to possession football again. RM can't stick to the tactics and formation and players that can be positive and front footed. -

He was Top's brand of manager. The thing is Top doesn't understand lower league football (or football at all). All he sees and wants is Pep ball. He will never grasp the concept. He's not a football person, he sees Man C, Barca, PSG etc and thinks that's what he wants for us. It'll never work at this level. The reason we are where we are is down to his doctrine as well as that inept board that he has accepted as being competent. He (and he's not alone), has brought us down to the point where we lose 4-0 at Oxford and scrape a win today with a pretty much shambolic performance. Anyone with an ounce of knowledge of football managers and their CV would know that RM was entirely the wrong choice. But such is his arrogance, he went with it anyway. -

I really think he comes to match days half pissed or hungover and blags it, having been on the team sheet on a Thursday. There's no way he's match fit on the match day. -

Apparently so as the player touched the ball without needing to and he was in an offside position -

Are you drunk? -
I'm sick of hearing Elliot's constant monotonous voice.

He won't drop Souttar after making him captain. -
Ringrose butchers in Broughton Astley has won the "Britain's Best Butcher" award. I'm not surprised really. The service, the knowledge, (ask them anything about how to cook their various meat products and you get the impression that all the staff have tried them, themselves) the variety and quality of what they have is second to none including their own "ready to cook" items, the fresh fruit and veg. Everything about it is great. And it's a family run and staffed establishment. They all know their stuff. And they'll cut your meat/joints etc to your own spec. We make a weekly trip from Hinckley because they really are that good.

They tried. They missed.

Same. And I've looked at the conspiracy theory ones as well. The conspiracy that it was the USA that collaborated or instigated the attack was for their own gains to then wage war against their perceived enemies is illogical and unfounded in truth yet so many believe it as a fact. But wage war they did, and still do.

He will. He's a zombie that will live forever.

All that makes perfect sense until... Most people are unable to unplug or go social media free, The whole SM circus has us, with a few exceptions like you that can do without it, entirely in it's grasp. I'll admit to being on that checks FB regularly for my local posts and I use it to find things that interest me. Once I've done that I get what I called "bot bombardment". The only way to avoid this seems to avoid FB. Something I don't want to do because it is helpful in several ways, but am beginning to feel it tries to influence my choices to the point it is becoming quite sinister.

What, their FFP and SSR which have doomed poorer and historically important clubs to financial ruin?

They devalue the advertised price when they examine the car and find even the slightest dink, scratch or other other excuse they can find to offer half what they suggested online. They'd rip our club down to about £100.

My insurers wouldn't accept my daughter as an additional driver so she insured herself to drive my car. That way she builds up her NCB and mine remains protected. She pays £43 a month or there-abouts, which I thought was reasonable for a learner.

And it's not even a generational thing.

Didn't Marshall become an alcoholic? Sadly I see Elliot on the same trajectory given his almost incomprehensible comments on Foxes Hub.

Too long a post for me to be interested, but I guess your saying something sensible.

Laziness, mainly. There really is no excuse for any of this. I was in a McDonalds car park some time back and a big 4x4 driven by quite young individuals who just threw their waste out of the window onto the floor. They were all girls, all overly made up, huge eyelashes, deep fake tan, trout pout lips... you know where I'm going with this... I challenged them. I was given a load of abuse in a certain accent.

City of Leicester & Leicestershire - The Good and Historical Stuff

Excellent. I have a keen interest in local history, both city and county wide. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this work.
