I can’t understand why VK gets so much time as first choice when our hero Ricardo can’t get a minute on the pitch for love nor money.

There’s only a handful left. The odd one here and there and a few in the £72 block

Looking for one spare if anybody has one.

It was a different owner when we sacked Puel. His son doesn’t seem as ruthless

And even if Cooper keeps us up, that will likely lead to another season of Cooper football - I.e. skirting around the bottom of the table saying how brave we are to not finish in the last three. Cooper is out of his depth. He is not a Premier League manager. He doesn’t have the tactical nouse or a way of playing, or know how to coach footballers to be better than the sum of their parts that it takes to be a success at the top. He is a clogger, he expects players to take responsibility because he can’t coach them into a system. Enthusatism and motivation will only get you so far, you need a system and a way of coaching it to succeed in the Premier League. Cooper is not a long term solution, he was all we could afford and the only person that would come with the points deduction hanging over us. Its catch-22, if we stay up we keep him, but he will never be better than 16th or 17th in the Prem and our owners are to loyal to sack him if he’s keeping us up. There should be more ambition than bobbing along at the bottom of the premier league, and our history shows us that ambition does not have to be misguided or foolish or a bad thing.

I mean, what you’re saying, given this started with you saying we haven’t been battered every game is now ‘we should expect to get battered every game, that’s why we sit deep and try to weather the storm’. But that’s just poor tactics. It’s accepting that we are worse than the opposition when that’s not true. There is no reason why we need to leave Vardy isolated up front and just sit back and defend for 90 minutes and hope to nick something. Negative tactics, unless they are exceptionally well drilled, and crucially have a positive outlet, generally don’t work. We were 2x the woodwork and 1x minimal offside decision away from letting in 3 goals yesterday, and against other teams at the bottom, there is no need to play in such a passive and negative way. I also reject the notion that our squad is worse than last years. Deesbury-Hall is the only player of note to have left and I doubt very much that if we still had Kiernon, Cooper would be serving us up swashbuckling attacking football.

Hard to beat? We’ve conceded over 130 shots against us in 7 fixtures and have the highest xG against in the league.
