There’s a reason Enzo is at Man City and Martin is failing a L1 Leicester. Enzo knows what he is doing. Very broadly they both play possession football, but the similarity ends there. Enzo actually understands how to make it work whereas Martin is the antithesis of sterile possession. Everything that has been frustrating watching the possession based football since Puel is distilled into its purest essence with Martin, and to go with it, we have the worst collection of players we’ve had in 20 years. It’s never going to work. Even a blind man could see that. He’s utterly failing to get the best out of the squad and players, and he is cocky about it to boot.

The problem is it's all youth. The average age is 21, and 19 if you take out the keeper. Youth is great, but putting 11 young players on the pitch without the experience around them, in a tough, challenging, physical league like L1, and doubly so if you play Brusselball, you are asking for a tonking. It's criminal that we've fallen to this level, literally everything that was built by King Power has been demolished over the last five seasons, and now we are a basement barrel team, with nothing going for us other than a training ground, a half decent stadium, and some recent history. The playing side has been beyond decimated and is at the lowest ebb possible.
