What and where was this stall?? Outside the ground? When and why did they stop it? And to reiterate - I actually like what the group are trying to do, it's just the attitude and the way they go about it which is non-complementary to their efforts.
-
So the only way you accept constructive feedback, light hearted or otherwise, is via a face-to-face conversation? And you disregard all other forms of critique and instead invite us to constructively "have it out"? What kind of positive outcome could you possibly forsee? And also I have no idea what you're on about with regards to this stall.

I'll get shot down for this but f**k it. I think the thing that gets me about UFS is the unrelenting obsession to imprint European football culture into the fan mentality. I've been to a lot of games across Europe and it's good value, nothing against it but thinking that our fan base should all whip their tops off, stick stickers on every lamp post, start blurring our faces out of normal photos with our mates, give our players all the middle finger if we lose and expecting an on pitch conversation through a caged enclosure... its quite a deluded fantasy for a club like ours. The game and the heritage we have in the UK is different, clearly, and rather than accept that the overwhelming majority of fans view the introduction of ultra culture into the English game as quite a cringeworthy exercise, they instead take aim at everyone else around them and make it an unattractive movement to support. Each to their own - and the sooner they realise that, the sooner they'll start attracting more support. I actually like what they're doing for the record, but it's the constant acts of petulance towards their own that does my head in.

Everyone was given that choice at the end of last season, to move to SK1 to join this new section. There is no way you're getting a whole end full, it's not as popular as UFS would have hoped it to be by now. And turning on its own supporters, the club, the hierarchy, the manager, the players, the physio, etc, is not really a way of growing its popularity across the wider fan base.
-
Someone above was on about needing a full end for the singing section, which I think it was you responded to. I don't think numbers of tickets sold qualifies as success for the singing section (referring to your point above about ticket sales for tomorrow's game) - UFS are not just another marketing campaign working on behalf of the club to flog tickets. I think their success should be measured by other means.
-
do you think that constitutes having a full end? and do you think pure numbers of tickets sold quantifies success?
-
I do find intrigue in your logic. The new singing section is clearly struggling, sulking and not as popular as they thought it would be... but the problem is they weren't given a full end?
-
isn't this exactly what they've done with SK1 ?

Giving season ticket to a friend for a game.

There's a security policy to stop you taking a screenshot of the mobile ticket. However, if you take a picture of your QR code on another phone and share that image then it will work on a different device. I tried it at Brentford using my old man's phone and it worked fine. Straight in. -

I have one spare for today if anyone is interested. Leaving at 9am, can meet at the ground or pickup from Clarendon Park before I leave. -
I miss all the arguments about our corrupt priority system. Still having this many tickets left for both games is a shambles.

Hiya Sean, which are the bars open until 5/6am? Any late ones down in Trastevere? Asking for a few friends..
-
Randers releasing more home tickets, looks an open sale as long you've created a profile on the website beforehand
-
Well played mate, was gonna post the same. Mate of mine managed to bag one this morning too as a member, there were 5 available when I checked first thing this morning.
-
Encourage everyone to Google street view the main square in Randers, the one with Barrys. Looks absolutely top. All the bars within metres of each other - centred around a modestly sized square - perfect footballing behaviour.
-
Ah ok cheers. Referring then to the 100 odd tickets the club swiped for players, box holders, etc - anyone know if any came back on sale?
-
Does anyone know if the "greyed out" block/rows actually came back on sale?
-
Brilliant work LCFC, site not allowing you buy tickets. I'm starting a rumour - the club have swiped all 619 tickets including the 6 wheelchair spaces. Where's the guy that's good emails?
-
What does this actually mean mate?
-
Yes but the FA Cup final windows were bizarrely low, people were bagging tickets on a handful of away points. I was surprised it went so low down the priority, presumably all due to covid and the buses etc. Comparing Forest (now) to the Final (then) is probably not an even comparison given the shift in climate.
-
Yeah I get what you're saying, although as far as I understand it the STH points only go back a certain number of seasons (too many to be fair) he wouldn't necessarily be waiting for people to give up their ticket... he just needs to keep his season ticket for whatever that maximum period is for tallying season ticket points (think its 8 years or something??)
-
I presume all your lads away priority points are going on his ticket? And not someone elses? Meaning he'll have built up a good number of points already. However it doesn't compare to the graft and money the 500+ groups have put in, who have spent years and years building up their priority. It takes time, just the way it is. Your lad will be prime for P1 in a few years if he keeps his STH and keeps up those number of Aways, definitely doing it the right way. Other people have been building for years, can't really see why this scenario should be any different.
