  1. Yes, we’re a bit of a mish mash squad wise.
  2. In fairness, we signed Cannon and I’m not really sure he was a player we needed. I’m not convinced by him, so me the jury is out. The likes of Praet, Soumare etc …. Needed to go but we can’t shift them. Last season we seemed to be collecting fullbacks .
  3. We are playing a different type of football as well. Enzo will want 22 players that are comfortable with a football at their feet. Realistically we have maybe 8 currently.
  4. In fairness to Doyle, isn’t he a centre back, playing as a full back?
  5. Shocking shot from Cannon that, offside or not
  6. Great play from Vestergaard. Not so great from Coady.
  7. If Akgun had pace he’d be deadly.
  8. I know not everyone likes this style of football. They would rather watch a basket ball game that is end to end. That’s great to watch, however it doesn’t give consistent results. As a system, how Enzo has sets us up, will lead to far more consistent results in the longer term, as we can dictate the play more with this style. To all the people stating “why don’t we smash it long”, typically speaking, if you do that, it’ll be coming straight back at us and we just conceded possession. Lose control of the ball, drop deeper as we are pressed and lose games. The other team can’t score, if we have the ball. This style wears out teams, We are evolving to what ever Rodger’s was trying to do. Enzo has had less that 40 games with this team. Squads take time to develop and that will take several transfer windows to get the quality of players we’d ideally like. As the squad develops, we’ll get better squad players that are more comfortable and better with this style. The players are learning not just how to technically play this game but tactically as well. Some will be able to play this system, some won’t. The ones that won’t, will either be sold or allowed to leave. We will replace with people who can play this system. Enzo is learning on the job as well. In game management, players he can trust, who he can’t etc Trust the process and give Enzo time to develop this team. He’s special and Rome wasn’t built in a day. He’s learning, we’re learning and the players are as well. We’ve done a remarkable job picking up the pieces from the mess that Rodger’s left. We will be fine long term, we just need the rebuild in the summer with what hopefully helps us transition back into the Premier League. Let’s get behind Enzo. Let’s get behind this team. Let’s be the 12th man at the King Power. Let’s give them the support they deserve and get us over the bloody line in the next 12 games. Enjoy the Enzo evolution!
  9. Raikhy needs to come off, as he looks like a kid in a sweet shop, crazy and excited but he’s on a yellow.
  10. So for everyone who doesn’t know, this is on IPlayer. You can listen to commentary from Martin Keown.
  11. That pass against Brentford though …….. I don’t rate him.
  12. It’s the system we play. Typically speaking, if you smash it long, you need good hold up players to win 50/50 balls. We don’t have those. As the squad develops, we’ll get players that are more comfortable. These players are learning. Some will be able to play this system, some won’t. The ones that won’t, will either be sold or allowed to leave. We will replace with people who can play this system. Trust the process and give Enzo time to develop this team.
  13. He’s it the best with his feet, as we’ve seen
  14. What on earth is Stolarcky doing
  15. Marcel is a better winger than McAteer
  16. Choudhury did bit want that into his feet there!
  17. Still a joke. Either implement the rules correctly, Or just scrap them.
  18. Iheanacho should have better link up play and movement. He’s just looked about useful as an inflatable dartboard this season.
  19. Agree. Anyway, why not just use the Etihad as the “Stadium Of The North” if we must have one (which we don’t).
  20. Cannon doesn’t get in that position. He moves like a cart horse. He’s actually the worst of our 4 strikers for the way we play. I know this goes against the overall opinion, however if he ever gets a run of games, he’ll get slated.
