  1. My daughter spend yesterday waiting for hand to appear, then today shooting a box!
  2. No one really knows, as we’ll be shedding so much expenditure in terms of wages this season end.
  3. Reality is, we’re screwed. No need to build the stadium expansion, as crowds will drop. Enzo Maresca likely leaves. We see a major cull on other areas of the club like back room staff etc We sell Seagrave to Forest. We languishes between bottom end Premier League to flirting with relegation from the Championship for 20 years. We sell more players and the likes of Ndidi walk away for free.
  4. Whatever suits you guys. Unless you’re making a major income from it, then it’s your free time you use! I’m looking forward to the next one though. I get the feeling it might be carnage after yesterday, with a few chair and rock jokes thrown in!
  5. Didn’t Blackburn in 94/95 lose 3 of the last 5 games, however still won the Premier League?
  6. It’s been a great ride though hasn’t it? I still come back to my point in 2016. It was so special to us, as the lows we’d experienced, made the highs that much more special.
  7. I’ve seen this spouted a few times now? Are people seriously calling this out when we still have so much football left to play? In my opinion my aren’t (yet). Football is fine margins and on any given day, any team can beat another. One day you’ll lose to QPR, the next we could beat Hull. We won’t win ever game, as we don’t set ourselves up to get beat like the Arsenal invincible did. You could throw 80% of the current Premier League teams into the Championship and even they’d struggle not to lose a game with how thick and fast the games come at times. We will be hurting right now but at times we’ve had the rub of the green this season, it’s just not dropped like that in the last 3 games. QPR was dreadful yesterday if I’m honest, however we played some of the best football I’ve seen us play this season against Leeds before the collapse on 80 minutes-ish. At this time, I still think we will win the league. Other teams wobble as well, pressure does funny things to people. That includes Enzo as well, as I’ve stated a few times. He’s learning about himself as a head coach, as well as he can and can’t trust. Time wasn’t built in a day. We can do a post season review and maybe answer my question then?
  8. Is it safe to read this yet?
  9. Nelson!!!!!!!!
  10. Southampton / Leicester playoff final
  11. Keep your fingers crossed @Finnegan! We are typically a team of two halves!
  12. Daka was great against Leeds. Yes he should have scored that opportunity but Cannon doesn’t even get into that position.
  13. No right or wrong way to play football. We just adopt a style that: * Wears opponents down. * Retains the ball, you can’t concede if you have it. * Takes calculated risks. It’s that simple. We will only get better as we get add in players that are comfortable with this style.
  14. As a traditional goalkeeper he’s great, I.e, keeping the ball out of the net. The modern keeper though, has to be comfortable with the ball at his feet. Unfortunately Stolarkzyk isn’t, so I don’t see a long term future for him with us. Unless he improves drastically, I don’t see him ever having a run of games in the first team, unless Harmensen gets a long term injury. With our FFP situation, we didn’t spend £££££s if we had a potential solution in the squad.
  15. Can Chair play? Wasn’t he convicted of assault this week?
  16. Looking at our fixtures, I’m guessing we end up playing Southampton now in the league on the 23 / 24th April.
  17. Depends when it gets dropped back in.
  18. The draw for the Emirates FA Cup quarter-final will take place at 7pm GMT on Wednesday 28 February, ahead the fifth round tie between Chelsea and Leeds United on ITV4 and across our official social media channels. Presented by Seema Jaswal and with David Seaman pulling out the balls, the remaining clubs will find out who they're up against in the last eight. With the quarter-finals scheduled to take place across the weekend of Saturday 16 March, there's a £450,000 payment for winning clubs at this stage of the competition. The ball numbers 1 Blackburn Rovers or Newcastle United 2 Chelsea or Leeds United 3 Leicester City 4 Liverpool or Southampton 5 Nottingham Forest or Manchester United 6 Wolverhampton Wanderers or Brighton & Hove Albion 7 Coventry City 8 Manchester City Games are played the weekend of the 16th March, so our game against Southampton will get moved and likely slotted back in mid week.
  19. Wanya definitely looks like the ideal replacement to give us that out ball, when he drags Mav.
  20. Another good performance. He’s really kicked on this season and is showing a more mature side to his game. We are starting to see the level of technical ability that got him academy player of the season.
  21. We are going to miss him in those couple of games. Who drops in then? Coady did okay. Doyle doesn’t look right and Nelson maybe lacks the experience?
  22. When did we last beats these away! Great result.
  23. 7pm GMT on Wednesday 28 is the draw, before the Leeds / Chelsea game.
  24. VESTERGAARD MASTER CLASS!
