I’d say you’re stating the obvious to be honest The team we are playing has been crap. We’ve been very average but scored twice. I think if we consistently average, we’d be mid to top half in this league though.

I don’t disagree @Finnegan However I also think despite us having the highest wage bill In the league, we don’t have that much more quality than other teams. We are basically an expensively assembled Championship standard squad!

Hopefully Somuare is touring airports, touting himself to every other club in Europe!

If we can keep chipping g away like this and we did on Saturday, I think we’ll all be happy. Its not the best football we’ve ever watched, however we will climb the table and we in with a shout of getting promoted. Still a long, long way to go for redemption though for some of this lot. Most of this league is very, very average. I’ve said all along we had the ability, just not the character or grit to want to win this bloody league. Ourselves, Southampton and Ipswich should steamroll most teams if we get our acts together.
