  1. Easier than typing De-Cordova Reid!
  2. Let’s be honest, if you swap Vestergaard for Okoli, it likely gets worse. It’s it’s coming straight back. Half the time both him and even Nelson have held onto the ball is due to not having a great out ball.
  3. Ah, I didn’t know that. Sort of makes sense, as I would have thought someone like Wilkins or Platt would have picked it up, more so than a Gazza.
  4. The impacts of the car crash bother me more than his age. He has always been a handful and would give us something that we are desperately missing if he’s still 90% of the player he was. Its a massive and I mean MASSIVE, does he have it?
  5. Incredible that he continues to add to the legacy. Some achievement to be the first English player to get the Serie A PotM award, when you consider you’ve currently got Tomori, Loftus-Cheek, then historically Gascoigne, Platt, Beckham, Smalling, Hart, Walker, Wilkins, Ince, Sharpe , Young and Winks etc
  6. We just lost control of the game. Bristol City went up through the gears and we couldn’t cope.
  7. It does enhance it though. Technically he’s our best midfielder. Clearly he’s been unhappy, be that managers, tactics, personal life stuff etc. that has impacted how he is perceived on the pitch. We will have situations in our lives where factors such as a new boss, work requirements and family matters impact how we work. As supporters we are an unforgiving bunch really and quite tribalistic. We jump on situations like these but don’t really know what’s gone on. In a similar way, Vestergaard is also a player that is suit to a style of play that incorporates Winks. No point pushing the bloke to the half way line or asking him to turn quickly. If we had purchased players around the to compliments their weaknesses, then they really enhance the ability of this team. Sadly, we just aren’t in a position where we can now afford to purchase players of a similar ability technically. They are both ball retention players and are best used in a system that keeps the ball for 60%+ of the game, wearing down the opposition by moving around. It’s great when you can pass to KDH, Akgun, Hermansen, Ricardo, Doyle, Iheanacho and even Vardy. We currently have a handful of footballers at this club (Stolarkzyk, Kristiansen, Okoli etc), where playing the ball to the under pressure is effectively giving the ball back to the opposition. Ricardo is another as he’s brilliant but in-usable go 50% of the season. On their day, Winks, Ricardo and Vestergaard all get into the best team in this division. However they won’t this season because the other players around them highlight their flaws.
  8. I’m reading between the lines and I’m Guessing this as well. Albeit, we are all Guessing in reality
  9. Unless he gets a tune out of him Then he’ll go on a redemption arc like Skippy again
  10. I’m not so sure about that. I need to go and bleach my eyes after that 2nd half. Every single player was dreadful.
  11. Irish, Scottish or National League?
  12. Do we think Winks got dropped as he’s told Cifuentes that his tactics are a little bit shit?
  13. I mean, Daka needs someone to pass to him.
  14. I don’t think we have in the 2nd half. It’s been dreadful.
  15. Vestergaard needs to be stronger as well
  16. Great cross that. What on earth is Stolarkzyk doing though?
  17. I don’t know how he’s not made a change like that
  18. Play for Zambia?
  19. We have just put 4 passes together for the first time in this half I think
  20. They should be level. That was harder to miss
  21. Neither has anyone playing for Leicester other than Stolarkzyk
  22. Yes, not sure what our shape is here
  23. Going two up to then?
  24. Stolarkzyk going down tactically?? I’m not sure how much contact we had then.
