That last right hand should have happened in round 2! The only reason that went the distance is that Paul spent all the time using the larger ring to run away, rolling around on the floor and AJ just took his time. As soon as Paul tried to actually fight, it was a different fight.

Realistically if any team can just consistently pick up points, they’ll be at the top end. We’ve been disgustingly average at times and could still gain promotion.

I’m not sure if this has been highlighted really and maybe leans into why the stadium development don’t progress at pace. Our attendances are dwindling. Not exactly a shock I know, considering current circumstances. However I saw this week that we have been leapfrogged by Coventry for average attendances. Coventry are 29,827 and we’ve fallen to 29,759. Not massively different to each other really, however the real story is that we were nearly at full capacity 2 seasons ago, despite being in the Championship. This is either a product of the ridiculous game times we’ve seen this season, or the ridiculous quality we’ve seen on the pitch.

I am going to assume at this point that the new CEO is going to be the face of getting the horrible stuff done that Whelan opposed. Some of this lands at the feet of whoever runs HR these days as well.

Easy to brand something a mistake in business. It is still bad PR and another hit to the already poor reputation either way. What I don’t get is why they’ve chosen to do this. Even from a cash flow point of view, it’s somewhat odd. I’d have thought we would have delayed suppliers first before internal staff. Yet, we have heard nothing on that front. Which makes me think this is just a naively thought out change in process.
