having watched him so far, I don't think he can command holding that lone striker position like Riis did on Saturday. My gut feel is he might be better dropping slightly deeper and on the half turn and runs in behind from deep - a bit like Cullen but the right-footed version. Seriously needs to work on his touch though. Those writing him off have gone way too early though IMO.

As "romantic" as this sounds, it can easily create a 'too many cooks' structure where too many people have their own ideas/agendas that nothing ever gets agreed or executed. Ideally, we want an individual or collective group of individuals with deep pockets and a long-term vision, if they have experience with sporting clubs then even better.
