I did it in a similar time, around 7 and a half hours. Did most of my jogging on the long straight after Pen-y-ghent. So I can pace myself on the steeper bits. We did it for Yorkshire Cancer Research through work.

We did a similar Trip in 2016. Went from Rome to Milan and made it into a hop on hop off two week tour. Last two nights fell in Milan with the Champions league final which was great.
