  1. It’s just a hunch I have 😂
  2. I’m starting to feel our Foxestalk forum is woefully misrepresentative of people at the ground. There was no edge today as there was nothing in it. But there was noise pretty much the whole way through, and everyone seemed happy from my viewpoint.
  3. Really? I thought it was relaxed and joyful.
  4. @weller54 will be along when he is good and ready.
  5. No VAR. Feel so strongly about this. Even when it has gone against us, like Leeds away. I loathe it.
  6. I was worried our promotion might have made you a bit more cheerful. Glad to see its service as normal
  7. I agree! And all our games have been severely truncated thus far. But it’s the modern ethos of ‘workload management’. Fred Trueman would be muttering incessantly about such a concept!
  8. I think they would say this is rotation rather than dropping.
  9. Walkers gave us peanuts? What were they thinking?
  10. Sheffield Wednesday? On a Saturday?
  11. Except when there’s a pandemic, when it could have happily started in late March. Apart from the whole not being allowed out thing.
  12. This doesn’t bother me on the slightest. I simply support my club. Feel United don’t have real supporters, and that Chelsea are vile. Apart from them, really not bothered by what our so called rivals achieve
  13. Because United are one of the odious big six. Much rather they were knocked out. We’ve had sufficient success that we can afford to enjoy a local rival enjoying some success.
  14. 3 down. 45 overs to go today
  15. Watching the last 20 minutes again just now, we actually defended pretty well after they scored. Didn’t feel like it at the time, but we did alright
  16. I remember that. My son and I came up from down here. Also caught in traffic so arrived 10 minutes late. Didn’t even see the goals.
  17. It really is a bonkers league!
  18. The two commentators at the moment. Ours and theirs. Basically sound like two old boys muttering away in a garden shed. Plenty of content for a comedy show. Mind you, a rain interrupted day, in April, between Derbyshire and Leicestershire isn’t really the stuff to set the pulses racing!
  19. Left foot out
  20. They’ll thrash Preston and then lose to Cardiff. Because that’s exactly how the Championship works.
  21. Very much demonstrates that problems we often feel are unique to Leicester are not unique to Leicester!
  22. Tielmans, Castagne, Evans, Maddison, Barnes. All having excellent seasons you could argue. I still get bewildered as to how we managed to screw things up so badly last season. Perhaps this season’s screw up will help me finally lay last season’s screw up to bed
  23. This is absolutely on the money. He’s trying to copy the Pep way. We can all see that. But Pep has the best players in the world at his disposal. Arteta at Arsenal needed time and huge investment to develop his team. Kompany, at Burnley, was hugely successful in the Championship but has never looked liked keeping Burnley in the Prem. At times, Enzoball has been great for us. But under pressure, the philosophy has struggled. That’s when he needs to show that he has elite leadership potential by figuring a way through, not just sticking to his philosophy. It’s a big week for him. He needs to implement some tactics which leave the opposition confused. For me, that involves ensuring the two centre backs do not go marauding into the opponents half as it leaves us to open when they inevitably are dispossessed. in terms of personnel, it’s clear to everyone Patson must come out of the firing line. So he has to pick one from three there. I’m not a big Dennis fan, but he’s looked more direct and influential coming on as sub in the last two games. So he starts for me. And the experience and graft of Coady comes in for Faes.
  24. Hypothetical question. Let’s say we now go on to win the league, with Enzo as a manger. Although it feels unlikely at the moment, we all know form can change so quickly. So if you’ve voted Out now, and in a few weeks we are promoted, would you change your mind, or would you sack the manager who leads us to promotion? Not looking to pick a fight, just interested in your perspective.
