It’s the young people who are to blame. Anyone under the age of 30 simply spend the whole game staring at their phone. Meanwhile us old people can’t remember where we’ve put our phones, or even what it is we are watching. That’s where your problem lies. Now, what’s for tea?

I think this is the crux of the matter. In a short period of five years we won the League and the FA Cup. We won the Community shield. We got to the QF of the Champions league and the semi final of the Conference League. No team outside the ‘big five’ (Spurs are big but devoid of trophies) has done anything remotely close. i cannot imagine it will happen again. Therefore although my love for LCFC is as strong as ever, the future looks a bit bland unless we get a new ridiculously wealthy owner. And I’m not convinced I really want that to happen anyway as whoever that may be will more than likely be some tax dodging exploitative bastard.

100% agree. Watched Leverkusen live a few weeks ago. Ok they are flying at the top of the Bundesliga but the atmosphere generated by their fans and the visiting fans from Freiburg was outstanding for the whole 90 minutes. Never stopped. Three drummers at the front of the main singing area

So here’s an idea. I take my son for a hydro swim at our local hospice in Luton every Monday. Before his session a young lad with various disabilities emerges. He loves football, and we have a chat every week bless him. He’s an Arsenal fan, but he quite clearly loves our JV. If you want rid of the boots, it would make Max’s day/week/month/year, quite frankly. Just putting it out there

Not too bad last night. Actually got back to Hertfordshire just after midnight which was ahead of expectations. One hour delay on the M1 coming up though so missed kick off having left home at 4.45

Felt there was a really good, positive almost joyful atmosphere yesterday. A genuine release after the slowly drawn out torture of the previous 18 months. Love Enzo’s energy on the touchline.
