Even with wholesale changes our team tonight could include 5 full internationals in Coady, Praet, Kelechi, Yunus and Vesty. Plus a Premier League winner.

I think disaster might be overstating it slightly old son

Neither would it have been if we had won or drawn

No one knows. Not me, the OP, or anyone who has commented. I could not have felt more annoyed at full time last night. Literally couldn’t sleep for hours. But that’s the game. We all like to think we can predict the future, but none of us have a scooby. We’ve got to try and enjoy it all, or what’s the point. Some people sound so darn angry on here. Yes, Leicester City has been a huge part of my life and mood for 50 years now, but try not to get too angry about it all people.

I cannot believe how unlucky, and profligate, we have been. Quite extraordinary

Not strengthening the team in January

Yes, it would have helped. But we couldn’t afford it. And we have Yunus who has barely played and Praet who has played 4 games. And most of us would felt our first half against Wednesday was close to perfection. Yesterday we simply missed too many chances, just like when we played at their place. Midfielders didn’t miss their chances. -

It really hasn’t. We need to win 8 more games out of 13. It’s not a must win by any definition -

They have 24 hours less recovery time than us, which can only help our ‘pass the opponent into oblivion’ strategy -
I blame social media. No one can concentrate on any single thing for more than a few minutes. And the Tories. I blame those miserable feckers for pretty much everything.

Upside: perhaps it means there is more chance that young talent like Alves and Braybrooke get some game time over the next few months when they regain fitness
-
Totally agree. Communication with us is so minimal, other than regular exhortations to buy tat from the online shop. Even the social media content is identical every week. Players trot out of Seagrave, do some drills, have a kick about. Nothing on the proposed stadium expansion. Nothing substantive on the club’s overall financial position. I heard Brighton’s DOF give a substantive interview on 5live earlier this season. Ruskin somehow avoids all scrutiny.

That is indeed where I was sat 😂

I sat in the main stand amongst the Millwall fans for reasons I won’t bore you with. They were dire. Truly dire. Our end was glorious. Thoroughly enjoyed looking cross when we scored, and clapping meekly when they did 🦊

Saw him play for Vitesse in October, and he was genuinely the only player on the pitch that caught the eye

I know

I noticed not long before he was subbed at Cardiff that he felt his groin/hernia area somewhat tenderly. Wouldn’t be all at all surprised if he has a niggle
-
Cardiff made two changes too. So fitness levels should be identical

Do we have any news of sightings of either Lord Lucan or D Praet?

Denied a clear penalty, but I still prefer a non VAR game. Ipswich celebrating and we look shattered, which tells you everything about expectations -
Bloody hell Weller, put the sherry away

Coventry Away (13th January Saturday 3pm KO)
Harpenden Fox replied to dnewty's topic in Ticket News and Travel
It’s the young people who are to blame. Anyone under the age of 30 simply spend the whole game staring at their phone. Meanwhile us old people can’t remember where we’ve put our phones, or even what it is we are watching. That’s where your problem lies. Now, what’s for tea? -
A league table of chairman vileness would be fun, too. Clearly the Turkish lads are right up there, but we have plenty of candidates in the Premier League
