  1. Brian Clough. Or as we call him, Nigel ****ing Pearson. Sorry. That was an ironic drunk post. But I genuinely miss the old days of properly good managers. I think the game's gone tbh.
  2. Fair play - but a bit of a shame in front of their own fans (who look a lot of fun)
  3. Great penalty save to level the misses.
  4. I'm resigned to him going (to Chelsea) - just trying to make it easier for myself.
  5. So did I - but he has to go after all this shenanigans.
  6. With a big wodge of cash in his pocket.
  7. I think he'll be waiting for the England job.
  8. Such poor defending.
  9. Nice (I thought it was off - but I don't care)
  10. Gerrimin - seems wiser than Rudkin. Financially more astute at least. Praet to Fulham is too accurate. Made me chuckle that video. It's like an FT fever dream. (extremely disappointing end to the video though)
  11. He definitely stepped up when he was needed. Yorks looked like they were going to win needing about 30 runs with 3 wickets in hand and Lyth at the crease. And he got the fire - I could see it in his body language. I like that in a player (Vardy).
  12. As does Villa finishing fourth, Spurs finishing 5th and Manu not getting relegated.
  13. I'm not sure he's a team player. Not sure if there's any evidence for that...
  14. He was bowling well, but not taking wickets - if that makes sense. But when Sussex needed someone to turn up - he did. Took Yorkshire's last 3 for next to nothing. Lyth was the key wicket - and he got him. He strikes me as the sort of bowler who'll get more wickets for other bowlers than he will for himself. Not sure who is going to do that job for England. I'd 100% pick him though.
  15. No. Another one from the PL back up. It's a bit disappointing. Personally I wanted WBA. But neither Narch or WBA put in any effort at home for some reason.
  16. I feel sorry for Southampton. I doubt Sunak has the remotest interest in football, or could even name one of their players (maybe smallbone, but that would be by accident). But he's made me a Leeds fan (and I hate Leeds). What a **** he is.
  17. I agree. But I suspect that 's been shut down.
  18. I actually like to see it. In a sane football world I'd be sticking money on them for top 4 next season. But it won't happen 'cos football has shit the bed.
  19. When we won it it was fairly anti climactic. Because we pissed it.
  20. Spurs fans cheering on a Man City victory against them. Absolutely deso.
  21. Just watched an absolutely fantastic county cricket match at Hove between Sussex and 2nd div title favourites (not any more) Yorkshire. What a shame it will be buried beneath the bollocks that is the Premier League and/or the IPL. It was first class sport.
  22. I'll miss my absolute disgust and disinterest for the Premier League. I'm going to have to convince myself I'm enjoying it next season.
  23. Southgate is a very weak man. He'll play him, but because the "popular" press will tell him to. He'll probably leave out Bellingham though.
