I'll stand by my original post in this thread back on page7.

This is just more media spun BS, filled with empty drivel of expected things at Xmas time and stuff what the club thinks  "the fans want to hear"  (I think we all.know this)

We have still to see any real evidence of anything from his "interview" (not that I expected too) that has made a impact or any tangable difference.

Our situation and overall outlook has changed 'not a jot' from the Interview's broadcast date.

My dislike for the spoilt little manchild has only grown if im honest regardless of this puff piece written on his behalf (because  after hearing his diction and verbal command of the English language, there is no way he is the author of any program notes)

It just saddens me to think of how much further we still have to drop (and belive me our decline is going to continue) before this incompetent, wanna be 'business man' is actually embarrassed enough (or receives enough pressure from mummy)  to do the only thing that will allow us to recover, and thats sell up, taking the toxic midset, baggage and philosophy of the current KingPower group as far away from our club.

Finally taking Rudkin with them in the form of a belated apology to us suffing fans wouldn't go amiss....

He is badly advised.  This sort of guff is a pr disaster.

Frankly he needs a pr expert to deal with the reputational harm.

For some tine i have thought we should call him out on social  media in thailand.

Out of his depth... making a fool of himself with every move... without the balls to realise that his helpers are no use and he needs better advice

    Riducule on his home patch

  2. As a dirctor ian bason should not be commenting on the views of any candidates...

As a candidate he should not campaign under the auspicies of the trust such as apprearing on a podcast episode called the foxes trust interview and warning against voting for reform candidates...

Whatever,  this whole thing isnt surprising.... is it?

Forsure its time for a change.  The tactics of the old guard have failed.  Anthony seems to control everything.  The club needs feedback and challenge...  kowtowing has allowed Top to carry on relying on  poor advisors (asuming he is taking the advice).

To attract a big membership and to be relevant the trust has to be more than a group of sycophants.

I agree it is minor, but every breach must be reported so that the ICO can keep an audit against an organisation. If it keeps happening, they can then suggest amendments to training and practices.

Out of interest... do i breach it everytime i cc someone to a new contact?

I've also seen the reply. Tried to infer how the nature of the response could indicate how the vote was going. The whole thing had obviously got under Alan Digby's skin, and he signed off "there will be no further correspondence on this matter". Maybe he's rattled, who knows.

Also... the reply relies on the fsa input.  Yet this does not tally with the feedback from the fsa.............. oh dear!

Cannot say I am surprised as technically Mr Bason did not breach the rules. I strongly encourage those standing to actively campaign that is perfectly allowable. Let’s ask the podcast for a right to rebuttal interviews. Post continuously on every  forum with the messages. Fight fire with fire you have a good message then you need to tell the story, retell the story until you swamp the voting. The largest growth of the trust since inception has been on the back of the reform call continue to press it home. In the home straight bring it on

As a board member, did mr bason comment on candidates in an election?

As a candidate did he knock his opponents ...aka campaigning under the auspicies of the "foxes trust interview"?

Yes to either is a breach.

I would be very concerned if digby had access to the ongoing voting.... anyone know of he does?

  7. We all watched the video.

Yet presumably he could do it all again?

Everyone will make up their own minds and upon the credibility of this process.

To be effective we need a trust with a large membership... and that requires fans to believe the trust is worthwhile.

  8. A mate just back thailand and malasya...  lcfc shirts everywhere.

    This should be our leverage.

(Nb top owns the club... but KP are implicated)

What do we want?... imo either top gets better advisors or he must go.

So the best protest is to embarass top and kp on social media in thailand.

I am actually in another camp, whilst our recruitment has been woeful and this is the worst squad we have had in the KP era, it is still strong enough to be competing for at least the play offs as a minimum and there is absolutely no way we should be 4-0 down at half time to a side like QPR

The squad needs a refresh and reset as the mentality is poor but a good manager would at least instil some tactical basics to ensure we are continually out of games by half time, it has happened in 3 of our last 7 games.

This is a poor squad in comparison to the last 10-12 years but is still on paper head and shoulders above the likes of Hull, Preston, Millwall etc who are all ahead of us, therefore showing that their managers are more tactically astute and have the ability to get their groups to out perform which is something our manager has failed to achieve this season.

Again this is not mutually exclusive, one or the other, my believe is this squad could and should be performing better than mid table in the championship, losing 7 games already and conceding 31 goals. We are virtually half way through the season and are yet to witness more than a couple, if any, real 90 minute performances, we are woefully inconsistent and incapable of stringing more than 2 or 3 positive results together.

The squad could do with a refresh however I also have concerns as to the quality of the manager. He is appearing to be more of a championship version of Cooper and it’s not working.

Agree.... but who will lead thus change.  We can see its not rudkin.  The new dof coukd do so ... butbi expect they will employ a yes man.

My hope is that top feels he is being made to look a fool and gets rid of rudkin and herilhy

  10. Anyone use the hub today?  I am in Toronto. It was rubbish.  Glitches and bits of commentary form "the future" playing of the current pictures and current commentary is anyone from the club looking at this?

How do I get my money back?  I thought I was watching a football match not a bunch of guys in Leicester shirts demonstrating  how NOT to defend.

  11. The fab is a duscussion forum.  The fab cannot force the club to say or do things....  So why is the club so wary?

Frankly in any customer facing business it is essential to listen to customers.  In my working life i have always valued the opportunity to understand my customers.... and i  have used this insight to ensure we are responsive and keep them happy.

Maybe the club is so out of touch with fans because it does not listen.

I think it’s positive that the FAB are writing direct communications to supporters, but that letter is astounding.

Barely a mention of the frustration, apathy and turmoil being experienced by our fan base at this moment in time.

Zero detail on what was said to Top and what his strategic plans are, we just have to take their word that he cares and that any “reset” will take time.

There is the usual line of “get behind the team” and apparently we can all “look forward to the future with some optimism”.

This is the problem with the club selected fab.... it is an echo chamber of sychophants.

2 members are elected by the fcc from the fcc who are all club appointees.

But one fcc chap who failed then get appointed via the "open interview route" (... this was a mechanism for fans without other routes... so while not against any rules it seems to be out side the spirit and denied a place to an more questioning fan).

The fef is a joke amd needs to be re designed.  It is a tick box to avoid any challenge to the club.

  13. Struggling to make payroll.  Not good.

If things were to melt down then this is how it would start.

My own concern is that kingpower has much bigger issues than leicester city.  So the club is in top's hands and we know he has poor advisors...
