Unfortunately if there’s any microcosm of truth in this we’ll have no say anyway as our Imperious Leader is looking to recoup back something. With them being Thai owned too, maybe there is something in this and they will have the finance to buy the club and take on the debt too. We can’t keep guaranteeing loans against further incomes - maybe Administration is imminent and RB do want a club in England that they can own fully and rebrand accordingly?

On first examination of us, we are going to need a lot of money to purchase us due to the assets and debt, but it will be someone or a group with very deep pockets. Unfortunately, gone are the days when local businessmen owned clubs, and Jack Walker at Blackburn was the real first benefactor, but even he with his wealth would struggle to buy us. Hence someone will come in, and with deep pockets. We are still a rather attractive proposition as money would generally be no object to these prospective owners now. The Chicago Fire owner looks a good bet and it is very random if one of their fans is quoting us.

I guess Leeds and Bradford are the bigger cities with just one club? Maybe our catchment area is better than Bradford’s though as West Yorkshire is heavily saturated with clubs. Problem is, it will win a lot of money to buy us, so who would want it?
