For what it’s worth, went on the Northampton forum after the game - apart from being ecstatic they beat a PL team - they really rated Alves.

Yeah I think Head on the Door is their most ‘poppy’ even though it has some darker moments. Their eclecticism is unique- probably in the same vein as The Beatles. Interestingly Alan Wilder - former Depeche Mode - in interview said that it seems ‘fashionable’ to criticise The Beatles, but if everybody heard every song by them, they would all like at least one.

Really appreciate The Beatles - most influential band of all time. I am your equivalent but liking The Cure instead. Therefore need to listen to Disintegration, Faith and the new album Songs of a Lost World 🖤

Good choice of bands. After The Cure, Simple Minds are my favourite band - would change that album to Sons and Fascinstion or New Gold Dream.
