  1. Posted 11 minutes ago... https://www.facebook.com/share/1FhGtKuQaQ/ A club run by LinkendIn types, for LinkedIn types. Fvck me.
  2. Not surprised given you've got a crush on Bell-Drummond (like me). Big year ahead for Muyeye if they use him right too. Jewell looks to be what Budinger could be if he took the really loose shots out of his game and went slightly more measured with his risk-taking. Shouldn't be too harsh though, can't complain with a 50 and seeing us home tonight. He's stepped up impressively this weekend with Patel's injury.
  3. Top two makes sense but the rest is way more of a lottery. Easy to put Derbyshire as the also-rans, but I reckon they'll do a better this year. Looked a much more confident side from what I saw of their game.
  4. Always on top but still came back from the kind of minor setbacks that often used to turn into major setbacks. Pleasing.
  5. Loved watching Wright, but him smacking Bashir around isn't exactly a ringing endorsement of England's selection policy.
  6. Zain-ul-Hassan he first man in the country out on two consecutive Championship opening days now. Ouch.
  7. What's everyone's Championship predictions then? Hard to see past Surrey getting four in a row right now. Would like Somersrt to do it in their 150th anniversary year.
  8. Get yourself down to Grace Road this summer. A club glad of the support and a team of players who care. Oh, and pints on a sunny day. It's fun even if you've no interest in cricket.
  9. Buzzing for the season starting. Nice to feel excited about a team I support.
  10. I find it such a bad taste gesture anyway, particularly for people who died young. It feels almost sarcastic. I've never joined in with one.
  11. With a really heavy heart, I'm out. Struggle to attend many these days and can't justify the spend. The club's treatment of all of us in recent times tipped me over the edge. Emailed to ask to cancel, outlining my concerns, and they weren't even acknowledged in the reply. I'd be sacked on the spot for failing to do that in my job. Just confirms they don't give a solitary shit about us, but makes me feel I've made the right decision on balance.
  12. Can't even be arsed to make it relevant to Leicester. How hard is it to post a pic of Zagorakis and have a bit if fun with something like that? It's like we'te using "Generic FC" from David Squires' cartoons to inform our marketing strategy.
  13. It's back to being free. One-Day Cup may be on mute though with the Beeb cutting coverage.
  14. Penny for the members' thoughts on this idea... https://www.thecricketer.com/Topics/county-cricket-premium/taking_county_championship_overseas_floated_club_ceo.html?t=638781449409932949
  15. Bar the injury, he was really beginning to find his stride in Wright's absence.
  16. Yes, I just opted for a Tennant's when I went in there.
  17. Porto was ridiculous. Some five-star hotel out in the sticks. Mind you, the local cafes must have made an unexpected profit that day flogging hundreds of bottles of Super Bock.
  18. I'll also vouch for The State bar. My post was still accurate as of six months later. Wish I could say I've managed to go since!
  19. Claimed it was UEFA protocol (it isn't) and a Government stipulation (it wasn't). KP themselves clearly knew nothing about either but it typifies the culture at LCFC under them. Zero respect for fans or the truth.
  20. Is there anything stopping other fans from stepping up and leading a boycott themselves? If the people on this thread asking if anyone else is leading action grouped together and led it themselves, the movement would be on easy street.
  21. I could imagine it... I can't imagine more than a couple of hundred actually doing it. It wouldn't work right now. Most in the ground don't care. Those who do need to make themselves more visible and audible.
  22. I like Kimber but this is very bizarre. Surely you just give it to Cox? Does make me wonder if England have had a quiet word in case Patel needs to keep himself free around that time...
  23. Decent interview with Hull: https://www.thecricketer.com/Topics/england-premium/josh_hull_interviewbefore_got_phone_call_never_thought_was_ready.html?t=638773102169894386
  24. It's sort of how most international friendships start really, it's usually either through groundhopping or guys who moved somewhere for work. Until our recent history we had a lot in common with Bochum though - same colours, yo-yo clubs, unsuccessful in the finals of our nation's top cup competition, two rivals who claim bot to care about us.
