Monga might get past a full back easier than Mavididi but I think across a full season in this league Stephy is still the stronger starter. Monga coming on with 30 mins to go will be absolutely terrifying for most defenders in this league. Like you say bin the other two off, complete waste of time.

The bit about creating one on ones for the two wingers is exciting. Mavididi and Fatawu are two of our best players at this level so we need to be abusing opposition full back at every opportunity. This video is much more in depth than RVN's from what I remember, which was basically him talking about how much better the individual players he had were than what he was up against. Marti's video has actual principles and theories. I think he'll satisfy the group that weren't happy with Cooper's lack of coaching ability last season. Also interesting that he repeatedly says about the system and the tactics being reliant on the ability of the players he has access to. It stands to reason that he could look to ask for more from our group than he could from the QPR squad he had access to.
