  1. I would imagine when Mr Puel was offered the post the instruction from the owners was at the minimum achieve the Europa competition after having the taste of Champions. Around 6 weeks ago I would have thought that might be achievable, however, from the last few performances its pretty obvious 'there's trouble at mill' and the key objective is not possible.
  2. I have been on a jury. And one member was not English and could not even speak it with any fluently so how he understood the case I have no idea
  3. He should also take note of an ex team mate, Mr Drinkwater who moved to a 'big' club, getting very little game time, always on the bench and tonight at watford probably stay there!
  4. Crazy premler league completely out of control, salary cap just have to be introduced like rugby union otherwise the richest club simply buy titles and the rest ?
  5. Trying to get back on course the theme of the comments in the Premier League, 2017-2018 Season Thread. My concern is that the Premier League is now out of control, its not truly competitive because it basically its not a level playing field. Several of the top 4-5 clubs have unlimited spending power, the mid group of teams including the Foxes have very average funding, but can't compete with the top 4-5, several of the ones below do not have the financial backing to compete with the ones above them. The top 4 can cherry pick the most expensive players and pay them £millions per year. This puts the mid and lower table clubs out of contention and more or less (except for our unique achievement 2 seasons ago) guarantees them a top 4 European place every year, the rest in reality have no chance. A very radical change has to be made to create a level playing field and competitive league. I suggest take a look at premiership rugby league which has a salary cap for every club. A much fairer system producing close competitive games and no guarantees who will win the league each season. Could this work with our league ?
  6. Before he's tempted by Chelsea, he only needs to look how Drinkwaters move has affected his career, spending about 85% of game time sitting on the bench does not exactly help your morale or career,
