I can only guess he's expecting us to get beat so why not make it a hammering and then he may have grounds for more of a transfer kitty. A couple of Ayew fouls leading to Leicester free kicks isn't going to increase our chance of a win.

I genuinely think if we got him and little money in exchange for Hermason that would turn the fans and we'd be like the Reading fans a couple of years back.

I'm sure there will be a good player in there in the future but he's no better than what we have.

So to clarify, Gary Neville says he won't comment on KDB diving because he was ok with his team mates doing it but when Buonette half dives it should be a booking. How this guy is still commentating is beyond me.

Everytime Justin gets the ball down the right I'm just pleading that it gets passed to Winks or Bilal to cross the ball.

Did we make history by have zero shots in the second half? Don't remember a time that's happened before.

Who are the other 3 that are good enough? Because I'd argue Mads, Vardy, Bilal and Buonanotte are good enough. Splitting hairs I know but credit where it's due.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him recall Cannon in January and send Edouard back. Doing well and I can't imagine he'd be worse than Daka. Fully expect to see Vestergaard back in the mix somewhere.

Really excited to see his first team sheet and who he'll try to sign in January.

Oh I wasn't suggesting dropping winks because I think he's a poor player. I think he's a very good player. I just think having a three man midfield of Winks, Skipp and Ndidi isn't attacking enough.

My own opinion is in previous games is that Skipp and Ndidi have performed better so unfortunately you drop Winks for an attacking midfielder.

Credit for dropping winks, credit for the subs, credit for giving Bilal game time but we need that final piece so we can at the very least say we've started our strongest 11.

It's all very strange, can't imagine the police would say it and BBC would report it yet he's still out and about.

I'm curious as to why nobody has picked up Ben Yedder. Free, probably willing to take a cut at his age, new league and could probably score well into double figures.

Not to be that guy, but how many players have we agreed deals with and Rudkin manages to screw it up. I can think of 2 that's given me sleepless nights.

Villa are a top 6 side now and have threats all over the pitch, they'll beat us.

It's just settling and I as a fan wouldn't settle. Who does he replace, Reid? Because if he replaces Vardy or Fatawa or even the Argentine, it makes us weaker.

If we're paying 6m plus extras, I'd rather pay that and a little more on Zaha for a year.

It's a joke, I don't rate Daka all to much but he's miles better than this guy. No doubt it'll be 3 years as well.

And what about Cannon, there's a decent no nonsense player in there who doesn't piss about with the ball and actually tries to score.

i would take szmodics, chair and hamer right now, and it wouldn’t have been the worst window ever.

 

We also missed out on lots of free transfers and good value deals early on, which we probably thought we were better than. Ryan Sessegnon for example - better than our other natural left backs and can also play on the wing.

You know what, when we were linked with all these so called top players for a moment it felt like we were back in 2016-2019, (may have got my years wrong), but me personally have been brought straight back down to earth  and now players like Longstaff who we were linked with sound like a pipe dream.

I'd take Wood back in a heart beat. I'd love Hamer in midfield, or Kel to have signed a new contract. Hell, I'd even take Moder because that now sounds the more attractive deal.

We have some good players but we'll be making history, lowest goals scored, lowest points, longest winless run, we have some good players but it's just not gonna happen. We're now weaker that last season.

And in our experience the players making the step up or so called unknown players are the ones who seem to do better.

Szmodics has only really had one good goalscoring season in the Championship, last season, I'd like to see if he could replicate first before bidding big for him. I'm not bothered if he goes to Ipswich.

He's scored 3 in 2 so far, so a good start. I think this would be a signing less based on resale value and more helping us stay up. I don't think for a second we're in for him though.

Let's be honest, that's a mid-table attack force right there.

Add in Winks and Ndidi as center mid and defensive mid I'd be pretty pleased with that.

I really don't feel confident in any of our center backs. Granted I've not seen Okali play but Coady, Vestergaard and Faes worry me. For sure they have strengths and are internationals ect but we need somebody we can say he's our number 1 centerback, he's first on the team sheet.

In conclusion, I'm happy we're looking for somebody!
