    Apparently yes.

Why won't he go back to Shakhtar?

I think this war will last a long time and I know they're playing at stadiums in another country but would you want to risk yourself and your family being so close it with all of the uncertainty it comes with?

Also, I think we can all agree to progress his career he needs to go to a top league.

Everton will be straight in with a £40m bid after selling Gordon!lol

Ah dam it! I forgot to add the 20m part. Leeds are willing to listen to offers of 20m.

On a completely unrelated note, I genuinely don't think Gordon will help Newcastle to where they want to be, so here's the start to high fees, high salaries and the slow destruction of Newcastle!

  3. I'll be honest, watching him in the Europa league he looked good, bags of pace from what I recall so I'm sure he could do something similar here. As others have said, if we got him for 5m, he could be good competition for Barnes. Take all day long for a fair price.

I’m sure I’m gonna get bent over and called a naughty boy for this but I think he’s a pretty good player

He is a good player, just not worth 35m. If it was 10/15m then I'd be all for it.

It will bother us if his morale is gone because without his goals and assists we would be bottom of the leauge by some distance this season.

Going back to that original quote of you, Maddison won't be leaving in the summer, because we'll ask for something silly for a player with a year left.

I'll requote you on September the 1st. ;)

Yeah and look at what Tielemans has done in response. He isn't anywhere near as good anymore since all he can think about is his next big move.

Regardless of weather Tielemans is good or bad, Maddison is here until his contract is finished unless somebody pays us silly money. He'll be here next season and if that means his moral is gone, it won't bother Leicester.

Take off the blue tinted specs. No way he is staying here for a relegation battle especially if we keep Rodgers.

In the same way Tielemans was leaving last summer. We have an issue of pricing players out of a move and are comfortable allowing players to run down their contracts. It'll be no different for Maddison and he doesn't strike me as somebody who would force a move.

Who does? Are you on the right forum @Genesis1?

I'm sure it's Evans, Bertand, Amarty, Soyunchu, Tielemans, Mendy, Hamza, Praet, Vardy and Perez.

I means that's what I hear so I took it at base value.

  9. We have 10 players out of contract in the summer. Does anybody know how much that will be of the wages? Got to be closer to 1 mil a week saved.

Obviously we'll bring more in but this surely is the perfect time not to throw stupid wages about and start again.

Whining when we don’t sign players, whining when we’re linked to players, I wonder what may happen if we sign a few.

I wouldn't bother trying, I gave up a long time a go. Just like the Forfana deal I imagine it'll be something like 20 up front with 10 in add ons and we did get Faes with the money but people forget that too.

  11. I know he's probably not first team ready but would love Djed Spence. With Castange able to play both full back positions I think he could play where he's best and turn out decent.

Would also love Van De Beek as a Tielemans replacement. Not quite like for like but a run of games and I think he'd be a solid player for us.

  12. Similar to when Hugh helped with Morgan becoming a better defender, Amarty is looking much more composed. Doesn't seem to be making silly tackles or passing it around the box or under hitting his passes.

On another note, won't be long before he's linked away.
