Heard a different perspective from the NTT20 podcast: From their point of view it took Leeds all playing at 10s defensive and attacking (especially their central defence and midfield) for 90 mins to beat us 1-0! How many of the rest of the Championship could manage those levels is very slim! (Also we possibly had an off day) Therefore I’m only Leicester worried about the rest of the season, not sensibly worried.

I’m just curious as to why people are always so obsessed with shots on target like they really mean anything? I mean you could have a grubby mis-hit shot dribble to the goalie and there you have it +1 shot on target. Or have a curling shot leave the keeper stranded, crash of the underside of the bar and get cleared no shot on target. Have a shot that gets blocked going on target towards goal… no shot on target. It a meaningless stat to get angry about. All this Leeds deserved the win, with their six shots on target, they had one goal and caused Mads one mediocre save. With our one shot on target a worldie save. I thought it was pretty even affair with Leeds taking a bit of luck. A 0-0 or 1-1 would have been a fair result.

I can’t work out whether it’s a good thing them coming into the game after a good win and us having a close, not so good game?

To take this away from all the Puel In/Out debate; let’s look at all the crazy negative streaks that we as a club have helped to end this season and the many seasons before: Long not scoring for 34 games ✅ Newport not beating top flight opposition for 54 years ✅ Cardiff not winning away all season ✅ Crystal Palace not winning when Zaha doesn’t play ✅ I’m sure there are many more, infact I’m sure Morata scores against us last season! Prediction for the future: Burley getting a penalty against us.
