Thought I was going to chunder up new walk but was shocked at how flat it was overall. The hill in Birstal I think it was wasn’t ideal either.

All done. Luckily my knee held up until I stopped running. 1:40.56. Hope everyone else got on alright.

Anyone had the email from half marathon? Looks unlikely to go ahead. With the current state of my knee that’s a relief but it’s a bit shitty if they cancel.

Notts in the top 2/3 for pubs/ location but I’m scarred by nearly every trip to that place being sheer hell.

I’ve got Hoka Rocket One I think but they are 4 years old and falling to bits so getting some more for Christmas. Would be interested to see what people recommend as it’s a minefield with me running anything from 5k to probable marathons.

I’ve recently bought a Garmin Forerunner 965 but as above it was quite a bit more than £200 and you may struggle to get one you can add music to for that. There is a Forerunneer 265 which is around £400 I think but doesn’t have music downloads (I think) and some GPS features.

It looks like it doesn’t it, but it’s got the right Admiral label for originals. It’s either an original that someone stuck our logo and Walkers on or it’s a prototype that was meant to be our shirt but admiral pulled out, which it could be as they disappeared the season after we had Walkers with that logo style.

Still getting over this cold but thought I would run 10k at the pace I’m targeting on Sunday. Absolutely not happening if that’s anything to go by.

I’d love to agree but all I can see is Patson Daka slicing the ball behind him from about 3 yards out at Plymouth. If that’s a good Prem striker then sign me up.

I played it with the intention of being as linea as possible so only really played the main missions. I got bogged down in the extra stuff at my first two attempts and never finished it.

Oh shit, I didn’t even realise they had different endings depending on how it was played. I’ll spent a few hours on YouTube tonight.

I can imagine it does. I’ve pushed to do 1k in about 4 1/2 minutes and that’s enough for me.

It’s not a question of whether I’ll do it ( I ran a marathon with zero training) but probably going to be more about how grim it will be to try to get the time I want.
