  1. His joy after the match was so brilliant to see.
  2. This is typical of the misunderstanding of our fans. What we saw tonight is Enzo ball too. It all depends on the opposition. Most teams park the bus. Southampton had all the possession and came at us so we showed what we can do on the counterattack. I think the Premier League will bring out the best of us unlike the doomfest most are predicting.
  3. ‘Leeds are the best team in 2024’ though. Do they get a trophy for that?
  4. It hasn’t. Southampton are coming at us and not playing a low block. It means we are able to counter attack. You can’t do that against teams who sit deep and let us have the ball.
  5. **** 8pm midweek games though. Imagine having a season ticket and missing this. Killer for those of us who live hours away from Leicester.
  6. Can we please now finally put to bed ‘Enzo out’ and ‘we don’t counter attack anymore’?
  7. Tickets available for the game that sees us promoted?!
  8. KDH has to stop falling over and looking at the ref with puppy dog eyes. Didn’t he learn in the first half?!
  9. Just had the same cut and paste response.
  10. I started off with two Gold Fox Memberships in my sole name. As I live in London I used the extra membership and the match as an excuse to catch up with old, local Leicester fan, friends. Sometimes I wouldn’t know who I was going with until the day before. I would still like this level of flexibility. I upgraded my memberships to season tickets - both in my name, which was allowed. During Covid the club asked me, because of Covid testing, to transfer the ticket to another name. A family member was the lucky beneficiary of my second ST. That family member wasn’t sure if they were going to renew last season so I asked the club if the ST could be transferred back to me. Not allowed. Other clubs allow do allow it. My father in law has two season tickets seats next to each other at Arsenal. The plastic cards offer me and my family member much more flexibility, at short notice, to take other family members or friends, if one of us cannot make it. This is more than 5 times a season in my case as midweek kickoffs are difficult because of the length of journey and other commitments. Games also finish too late for train journeys back to the capital. Going on to mobile tickets only with the restriction of only being able to take people registered online with the club , four times per season, is too much of a ball ache and treats us like people they can’t trust to manage the cards in a thoughtful way. Mainly though my journey was a loyal fan has moved from maximum flexibility to take whoever I want under my own name to an ever more restricted one. The club have been making it more and more difficult for me to attend and I really am beginning to resent the direction of travel.
  11. It’s not the money. It’s the increased restrictions using mobile tickets compared to physical cards which is the issue, especially for those of us who don’t live in Leicester and can’t make all the games. 99% of fans pass it to family if they can’t make a game as has been the case for decades. Treating us like touts or speaking of us as luddites is insulting. We use the tech in other areas of our life. We don’t want it here.
  12. Thank you. I used this as a template and added some of my own wording. The more people that do this the better.
  13. The club need to trust its fans. We’ve self regulated with how we use tickets over the years. Selling at FV when needed doing our own checks. Sharing cards with family when unable to go. That’s called community in action. Let us get on with it without forcing virtual tickets with stringent limitations on their usage on a fan base that doesn’t want them. It is a corporatist anti-working class move actually.
  14. This alone negates all the free beers and donuts. A person is behind this decision. Someone at LCFC proposed it and the rest went along with it. Has to be Whelan, but mostly absent Top bears overall responsibility.
  15. It does. It’s a behavioural nudge by the club that many of us already resent.
  16. I’ll pay it through gritted teeth and am pissed off about it - but I am not moving to NFC as it just doesn’t suit my attendance habits. If they ever roll it out for everyone it will be a sad day as I’ll have to give up my ST. I imagine many would do the same.
  17. I am awake! Agree, of course they could have but they’re not. You said you were paying £25 to keep your old card. That just isn’t the case.
  18. Sorry to be a pedant. But the charge is for a new card. Your old one won’t work for next season.
  19. Wow. Quite a price differential between renewals and first timers. £677 and £798 for B1 respectively. Why should your first season cost over £120 more than someone renewing?
  20. My father in law has two season tickets at Arsenal. It’s a bit of a ball ache but he just about manages. The worst thing about their move to 100% NFC is that the club monitor actual attendance. You have to hit a high threshold of attendance in order to be able to renew. Sounds like a good idea but if you travel a lot for business it puts you in danger of not being able to renew. Would hate this at our club.
  21. I don’t understand why the announcement states that those on DD are renewed from tomorrow. Put me in a bit of a panic as there is next to zero notice. It turns out you can opt out of renewing if you give notice by May 13th. I’d like to wait and see what league we’re in before making a final decision. Perhaps I’m a bit odd but feel less likely to renew if we get promoted. Always tend to though!
  22. You don’t. You can only forward the ticket on four times over the duration of the season.
  23. Only four times over a season. I travel up and down from London. There’s way more than four games I cannot attend, usually the 8pm midweek matches. I leave my ST card with a family member who sits next to me. If I can’t go another family member goes. The day NFT gets rolled out for all our fans is the day I stop buying a ST.
  24. Kudos to the guy in Row 1 of B Block yesterday who turned around and gestured to the block to make some effing noise! I liked his ambition.
  25. Ever been to see another team play?
