100% this.
-
All three teams are leggy.
-
I just don’t think I can tune into the last 10m of late scoring Ipswich.
-
This thread would have looked ludicrous if it was posted on Saturday night and it will look ludicrous if we win the league or get promoted.
-
The comparison with Pater Taylor should be with Brendan Rodgers - not Enzo!
-
He’s an off the shoulder attacker. He needs to be put through. He’s shit at taking the ball with his back to goal, which he is being asked to do. Personally I’d rather see Cannon played. Where’s he gone? He could do a job for us.
-
When he first arrived I watched the QPR friendly where he played up top with Nacho in a two and they were both very effective. We also saw what he can do in Moscow. I agree that he has looked terrible recently though. Even the smile looks forced.
-
Nacho has been on the beach all season. Why hasn't he made that starting position his? At this level he could have. His main competitor is 37 years old.
-
This. Daka needs a strike partner and a different system to what Enzo deploys to thrive. We've seen how Vestergaard is shite in our old system but much better suited to the one now. Same with Daka. He isn't shite. He just a square peg right now. He falls over too much though and his first touch, like Nacho's and Vardy's can be ghastly.

Is this another ‘must win’ like the Millwall game? Hope the players realise it.
-
I should have been at The Den but ended up at The Emirates watching the Arsenal Bayern game on freebie hospitality tickets . I feel a bit mucky but am now only indirectly infuriated at the result. If I’d have watched our game I would be in a much darker mood. Small mercies.
-
I’d have preferred more rotation. Perhaps Enzo needs to trust in his squad more. But can see the argument for consistency and momentum. A must win game. Hopefully we stay injury free. I think Millwall will stick it on us.
-
Will we see Cambiasso like bows from Vardy and Albrighton after the last game? Huge events in themselves.

Bugs me that his lad chose their academy over ours. -
I thought N’didi was awful yesterday. Funny how we can read the same game so differently. Fatawu, on balance, too. He’s wildly erratic. That ball he kept putting behind was infuriating and ultimately got him hooked. Great to see Yunus play in his natural position and not played as an 8. We saw the result of that. Enzo spot on with the subs finally. Just 10 mins too late.
-
He was great yesterday. I’d buy him if we could.

Keiran Maguire says if we’re looking for a precedent of where Leicester are at then it is Leeds United back when they flew too close to the sun.
-
Listening to the ‘When you’re smiling’ podcast. Maguire says Leicester used to be spoken of along with Liverpool and Man City, and think about the company in that sentence, as being the best clubs at data driven player analysis in terms of skill and and return on investment. Somewhere along the way that has been switched off. Didn’t Rodgers once say he doesn’t pay that much attention to data driven models and didn’t some of our scouting analysts leave out of frustration over the last few seasons?

You can’t sack the board. We’re stuck with them.
-
Those at the top massively gambled after those two fifth place finishes by not weakening the team by selling our top assets and adding players to the wage bill. Add a toxic Rodgers saying his squad was not good enough whilst bemoaning not being given his player refresh and it was the perfect storm. The latter was immensely damaging. I’ll never forgive him. Peter Taylor MK II - just on a bigger scale.
-
Poor Brendan. Wasn’t backed enough with more money.
-
This is the year that we see the play-offs for the abomination that they really are. The current top three clubs all deserve to go up on merit.
-
No. You can’t say that today. We did our job. The other games beyond our control.
-
If Ipswich’s luck denies Leeds automatic promotion then I’m all for it. Would love to see Leeds blow the play-offs.
