  1. I was calling for Hamza to be subbed for Ricardo yesterday before he turned it into a MOTM performance. He was loose in possession and put us in trouble that we were lucky not to concede from.
  2. N’didi just looks like a shadow of what he was. Unfair though as maybe he’s still not match fit.
  3. Still gutted we didn’t land Deeney as a strike partner for Vardy. Slimani was Plan B. Vardy & Deeney would have been really nasty to play against.
  4. ‘2013 Championship Play Offs’ does not encapsulate the drama that was ‘Deeney Day’! So gutting but it forged us into stronger material.
  5. Maybe we weren't as good as our early points total and amount victories suggested? We won quite a few games against opposition who squandered brilliant chances to score against us. I remember being quite shocked at the level of finishing in this league compared to The Prem.
  6. Anyone else feeling pre-match nerves already?!
  7. We’re going to have to put them to the sword in our game.
  8. Anyone read Oedipus Rex by Sophocles? A play that suggests you can’t escape fate no matter how much you try. I can’t shake this horrible feeling that a player we rejected, a local lad, might score the goals for Southampton - and against us - to stop us getting promoted and fall into a catastrophic financial abyss. A horrible script. Hopefully just a nightmare and not a premonition!
  9. Agreed. He’s one of our most important players.
  10. Do catch up, he’s been on the beach all year.
  11. This result shows us it’s not easy. We need to get off the manager’s and players’ backs and support the team. Negativity and anxiety in the crowd do not help. Elland Road was tense and the players felt it. Like us they are leggy too.
  12. Why would he come?
  13. Daka is being exposed by the system we play him in. We ask him to take or hold up the ball with his back to goal which exposes how terrible his first touch is. We also don’t play with enough pace in our overall game to release him when on a defenders shoulder. He’s clearly not a header of the ball either. No wonder his confidence is gone.
  14. Maybe the question should be flipped. Why are our fans so negative and entitled? We are currently top of the league on equal games played with our nearest competitors. We were more positive and excited in the past under Pearson nipping into the playoffs in 6th place several seasons ago. That’s to do with our expectations.
  15. Where is Cannon? I liked his workrate, effort and he was scoring goals or creating them.
  16. The funny thing is that both Ipswich and Leeds would still swap league places with us if they could. We have to hold our nerve and play with freedom. The negativity is not going to help. It will just help create a self fulfilling prophecy.
  17. We have to remember that we, all of FoxesTalk, get so coloured by the last result we just can’t see the bigger picture. After we beat Birmingham it will be all roses again. Believe! - even when you don’t believe!
  18. Well, I am clearly more optimistic or deluded than I thought because I’m expecting a bounce! 😂
  19. Exactly! If they did sell some horrible vampire asset company would come in and literally sell the land.
  20. We need an owner, who on a very basic level, is present. Leicester City is everything for us. For Top it’s just one thing in his portfolio located in a country he doesn’t live in. He pays other people to run it and no one to oversee them. It’s just not the same as someone with a genuine connection to the club. I think they only chose us because our colours where the same as King Power group’s branding and whatever other money laundering reasons they had. What other reason would they take in interest in Leicester for? They’re not fans and had zero connection to us. They chose us because we could serve their needs, which remain opaque.
  21. It’s more than that. Option 2 is closer to an an extinction event than option 1. We simply have to be promoted. It’s shite or bust.
  22. That’s the defence for ‘the idea’. We are creating enough chances to win. You can’t argue with that.
  23. I would have thought they could have designed something better. I had a t-shirt years ago with a print of several panini stickers on the front based on crazy hairstyles. That would be cool if all were Leicester.
  24. If Southampton win their next game we are going to have to put them to the sword when they’ll be really up for it. Should be cracking game.
