Feels like 2024 is going to be a crazy year. So I submitted the formal complaint to Ashton's school and informed them of our decision to not send him back. He seems much happier at home where I can ensure he gets his meals and snacks down him. He is putting weight back on which is good news. Now we wait for his operation date. I am also starting the process to potentially move house. Posted on the house thread, lots to think about. Got Ashton EHCP to sort out, still haven't seen his latest plan which is a joke. We also need to find him another school. We have an idea of where to send him just need to make the formal request at Ashton's EHCP meeting on 24th. There really is no rest when you have a child with additional needs. There is always a battle to be had.

So I have been in my first home coming upto 3 years. And with Ashton now being 10 years old with additional needs we are at a crossroads. So through the council we can get adaptations done to the house, namely a wet room, ramp to the front door and a thru-floor lift. We had decided to not bother with the lift and go for the wet room and ramp. However if we decide to have the adaptations it would mean us staying in this home for 10 years, otherwise we would need to pay the council back for the adaptations, which is fair enough. So now we are considering moving into a house that is more suitable. To avoid unnecessary adaptations. The real conundrum is whether to go for bungalow or have stairs. So Ashtons mobility is very poor, currently he can manage the stairs as long as we are holding his hands. He is due hip surgery very soon and we hope his mobility will improve. But as you can imagine as he gets older and heavier then we will struggle to support him going up and down stairs as we also get older. So do we go for a bungalow, which will make it easier on all of us, however it then doesn't encourage him to learn to walk properly, as stairs are a really good way to learn balance and control etc. Or do we go for a house, which will continue to help Ashton learn to walk at the risk of difficulty as he gets to teens and adulthood. My head had always said it has to be a Bungalow. The more I think about it though the more I'm convinced getting a house, even a 3 storey house, will benefit him more. In the 3 years my home has 100k equity so we are in a good place to upgrade. Just need to tally up the pros and cons

How about an absolute classic like Mass Effect trilogy? I've been seeing random videos on tik tok of ME and it's made me want to play through it again. That game is peak storytelling Or a game I played last year called Monster Boy? That was enjoyable -
Yes there has been a tie before. Not sure what season it was. They just do a revote with the players in the tie being the only ones available to be voted. They themselves cant place a vote

Had a bit of a break over Xmas. Barely touched my PS5. The games have just not really gripped me on PS Plus. So i have gone back to Ys 9 Monstrum Nox. Starting to get into it now. Always love a good RPG -

I almost died there . My mate took me there to visit on a red hot summers day. We hired bikes and i needed to fill up my water bottle. He said there are loads of water fountains around the island so we could set off and fill up along the way. So once we had cycled a few miles we realised we hadnt seen a single fountain it was a case of do we cycle all the way back or do we continue going in the hope a fountain will appear. We stupidly continued. We get to the other side of the island and not a single fountain in site. At this point i am desperate for water. We just had to head back and soldier on. Honestly i have never been so happy to see water in my life when we got all the way back to the start for the only water fountain. We get back home and my mates wife then told us there are no fountains and she couldnt believe we were stupid enough to leave the start without water One cycle ride ill never forget

I saved it at 99% (when the gem appears). Then gave it a try and yes I also didn't get the trophy. Looks like it's an ongoing problem for everyone. I will continue with the other trophies then hope that by time I have all other trophies it will be patched. Quite annoying as it looks like it's been a problem for a while -
