  6. 18th minute - Strand Larsen Curls up into a ball trying to stop a header

  15. Ruud Van Nistelrooy Pre-Match Conference vs Wolves On Vítor Pereira’s arrival "You can do some research on what he’s been doing in Saudi and the teams he’s managed before. Changes can be made, but he’s only had a small amount of time to implement them. You also have to prepare for surprises." On #LEIWOL "We know where we are in the table, and Wolves as well. For us, it’s important to continue developing, it’s our third week together. It’s also important to react on last week’s performance, it’s the next step in our development and how we want to play." On squad progress "Players are buying into the game model and the way we want to play, we’re getting more aligned in that. We’ve seen some very good bits and some disappointing bits so far. It’s the journey we’re on." On the festive fixtures "Nobody is thinking ahead of Wolves at this moment, we don’t want to affect our performance on Sunday. We have to focus on today, tomorrow and preparing in the same way, being at our peak for Wolves." Injuries Asked if Hermansen could feature against , he said: “That’s a question. We’re still doing everything we can and Mads is as well to make it for the game. There’s a possibility that he can. That’s the good news. “It was worrying that he had to leave the pitch at half-time. It was an immediate assessment, treatment and rehab [after the game] and we’re waiting to see how today and tomorrow is, of course, to see if he can play on Sunday. It’s a possibility but we’ll have to see.” “We keep our options open,” he added. “We know that we’re going for Mads, to see if he can make it. If not, we have a decision to make. We have to wait on today and tomorrow, how training goes. “We know also that the situation is that Jakub is recently only back from a long injury. He’s just played one game in the Under-21s. All that information, we will analyse, and make the best decision possible.” “Harry has been fully a part of team training,” van Nistelrooy explained. “He’s available for selection again which is very positive news for the team, for the squad. Wilfred is in his rehab. He’s not on the pitch so he’s not available for selection.”
  16. Had a good 10 game run in 22/23 but other than that he has been generally shite
  17. https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Article/Lens-se-prepare-a-l-idee-de-vendre-abdukodir-khusanov-ou-kevin-danso-lors-du-mercato-hivernal/1527503 https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2024/manchester-city-one-of-four-premier-league-clubs-in-the-hunt-to-sign-lens-abdukodir-khusanov/ Lens are hoping for between €25-30m for Khusanov, according to L’Équipe.
  18. Took weeks for the old set piece coach Lars Knudsen to get a work permit, it can drag on for ages and you can’t really speed it up
  19. Other than one good run of form over 10 games in 22/23 he has overall been pretty crap for Newcastle and would be a massive waste of our one available Prem loan (assuming Edouard goes back)
  20. From the Percy article In preparing for matches, he has been known to teach himself choice insults in the native language of the centre-backs marking him. Earlier this season before a morning session, he amused himself by simply booting balls at the windows of Leicester’s vast training ground HQ.
  21. Even a loan for Rashford would likely be very expensive You would think they would want most, probably all of his wages covered for the loan period which would be around £8m for half a season
  22. I imagine you could probably play him in the double pivot but it would have to be instead of Soumare/Winks - I don’t think you could play KDH with Winks or Soumare as a pair, it would have to be with Wilf But with KDH I think you really need to take advantage of his engine and how much he can press, and personally with how I have thought Bilal and Facundo have looked better starting as wingers/wide players coming inside I think the best way to use him would be in the middle of them and being used as our main presser
  23. Only way I could really see us setup with KDH coming back if we go by how we have set up so far would be: Buonanotte, KDH, Bilal Vardy With KDH pushing up to press with Vardy and freeing up the space in the middle for Buonanotte and Bilal to come inside off the wing whilst being overlapped by the full back I think I have actually been more impressed by Buonanotte and Bilal when they have started wide and been able to come inside I would be quite happy with that setup
  24. Probably gone in the summer with a bit of a payoff then unless he absolutely smashes it
